    I concur with previous reviews. Unfortunately no service exists here. The telephone number only tells you to call elsewhere. I assume the high commission in NZ is not staffed.

    Need to speak to a real person NOT AUTOMATED MESSAGES and it is not possible to reach the consular services through extensions which the phone service recommends. Very frustrating.

    I can't believe in this day and age, that when you phone The British Embassy in both Wellington and Auckland, you cannot speak to a "real person" to ask a basic question. All you get is an automated voice telling you where to look on their website. And that website it is so very, very hard to get the information you are looking for. All I want to know is, is my son eligible for a British Passport if he has a British Maternal Grandparent??? HELP!!!

    Appalling. I have applied online to renew my UK Passport, mailed the passport to UK. Then have been asked for my NZ passport. Yet no way of e mailing them a copy. UK HC doesnt answer thei phone. So much for a global Britain.

    Your office needs a telephonist/receptionist who can answer questions for the public. None of your voice message choices had anything whatsoever to do with my query which is very frustrating! I also see renewals need to be done online these days too therefore presuming there is no passport office in Wellington any longer???
