   The security guard(Armourguard) working at the German Embassy seems to be under the impression that he holds law enforcement authority. While we understand the need for strict security at such facilities, it’s important to exercise common sense and treat people with basic respect. At the end of the day, he is a security guard—not a federal officer. Additionally, his behavior has shown signs of racial discrimination, which is completely unacceptable.

   One of the best embassies to lodge your visa. They have a very easy step by step process to lodge your Schengen visa. The reception always picks up the phone and answers your questions (i have contacted them multiple times) Big thank to the officers in the German embassy.

   I was travelling up north so I couldn't pick up my passport by my self. It should have been mailed via post on the next day as I left the country a few days later. I called them to make sure that the passport will be send within the next day. So, as agreed it should have been sent to Auckland. They knew about the urgency but kinda missed it to send it asap. My documents just sat on the desks of the authorities for a days and no one bothered about them. In the end I had to pay extra for the cargo to get my passport on time then and got no refund for the cost as they were acting like it was my fault. Not the service that I expected.

   I had to call both the Visa Officer and the gentleman at the front desk about 8 times over the past week with pressing questions and they were gracious about it every time. Even got me a new postage bag when the one I sent ended up getting damaged. Thanks for all your help!

   I can also say staff extremely rude on the phone. He literally told me to never call again and that I should read the website. So if you have additional questions just don’t, because they don’t want that kind of behavior obviously.

   Called for information about the wherabouts of my new german passport that i applied for earlier and customer service was very friendly and helpful and told me where my new passport is at the moment and an estimated delivery time.    I'm positively surprised by how fast the Visa process has been carried out. After applying for a National Visa we only had to wait for one week in order to get the results. The communication via e-mail has been very quick and informative as well. All staff members were very friendly and complaisant, though you can defenitely feel that all tasks are carried out with the familiar German accuracy and precision. Thank you for having us!
