   I agree with the barrage of one-star reviews since this place changed ownership. I received an email from them saying $20 off your next appointment, so I booked a pedicure. When I went to pay I was told the offer didn't apply until after 1 December. I thought I must have misread the email so I reluctantly paid the full amount. I read the email later (see screenshots) and realised it didn't actually have any dates specified. I contacted them and they refused to refund me. They don't understand the Fair Trading Act at all, it seems. It's only $20 so not a big deal, but leaving a review to warn others. Update: I see the owner has learned nothing from this and instead lied about my "behaviour" in front of imaginary customers (I was the only customer in the salon lol). Unless serious changes are made - I don't see this business lasting much longer, which is very sad to see as it was once thriving.

   10/10 This was an absolutely amazing experience!! I hadn’t had a wax in a good year, so when I booked in for a Leg, Underarm and Full Brazilian, there was A LOT of hair to deal with, but my beautiful therapist Poorni was brilliant. She expertly, efficiently and seemingly effortlessly took on the task, and so quickly too!! She was also dressed impeccably well and had such a beautiful vibe, I seriously can’t recommend her and her salon enough!!

   Love visiting Ruba ❤️ have attended the Finishing Touch for years and gotten gel extensions since 2019. Ruba's nails never budge on me, they stay so well. Some teething problems since the change in management but I can see the hard work the ladies are putting in and am confident in their ability to continue to transform the business. Much love to the girls and happy holidays ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

   I had my gel nail polish done by PoornI, the salon owner, and she did an amazing job. She was very friendly, and I didn’t have to wait long at all—unlike other salons where the process can take quite a while. Poorni was efficient, cleaned and colored my nails beautifully, and made the whole experience so pleasant. Thank you! I will definitely come back again.

   Got a gel manicure that only lasted two days before it started to peel off and chip. I was on holiday overseas and unable to return to have the nails repaired so ended up having them removed on holiday as they were chipping off. Sent photos via email and was offered a 50% refund which I happily accepted and emphasised that the girl who did my nails was lovely but the polish just didn't last, but after a few days without the refund coming through I followed up only to be told I won't be getting the refund anymore as I said the service was good. Incredibly disappointed as I paid $75 for gel polish that lasted 48 hours and the response from the team was so dismissive. I would have returned to the salon if I wasn't overseas but even the time stamped photos was not enough for the refund to be given.

   I've had my nails looked after by Kathy for several years, and she always does a fantastic job. The staff are friendly and professional, and the salon is always clean and well presented. The team go the extra mile to fit in with my schedule, and nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended.

   Booked a couples massage well in advance, got told on the day that they couldn't accommodate it. Wasn't able to book anywhere else with such little time, so the 'relaxing' day was ruined. Edit: Had a call from the owner trying to guilt trip me in to removing the review. Be wary when dealing with this business.

   My friend got me voucher for my birthday for this salon and I had different treatments done. The waxing was great, so was the massage. But I have been asked to come 15 minutes earlier to then having to wait half an hour which was very annoying. Everyone got tea but somehow they forgot (?) to offer it to me. And my nails were horrible, the young woman seemed like she had no idea what she was doing, everything was uneven and really bulky, when I pointed out that the thumb has something really uneven instead of taking it off she painted another layer on top which made it even bulkier. It also started coming off two days later, for this price unavailable. I also felt like because I had a voucher I wasn't a "real" customer, which is ridiculous as my friend paid $200. So overall not super great. I have to say the woman who did the massage was super lovely and knowledgeable but the rest of my experience was awful.

   The store is clean, spacious, light and well presented. The air also smells fresh and you always feel comfortable. Staff are welcoming, professional and ask what you are wanting to achieve to ensure they deliver the best service. The full back laser hair removal has been highly successful with 80% reduction on my first visit. I would recommend laser hair removal above waxing any day - so much easier and with no pain. From my experience, if you are considering a cheaper alternative… don’t, as it will cost you in the long run. The Finishing Touch also has a great range of services for men and women and was one of my top picks when shopping around. Try nails with Claire, my girlfriend’s nails are always amazing - so creative.
