Rachel listened carefully to my requests, offered thoughtful recommendations, and executed a flawless cut & balayage that grew out beautifully. Hollie recently created a stunning color also that perfectly complements my skin tone and lifestyle. The two of them together created a professional yet warm and welcoming environment, making both my appointments with them feel effortless. Hygiene and professionalism were top-notch, and the result exceeded my expectations. The scalp massage during the washes from the Asian lady was heavenly and divine! Thank you, ladies, for styling my hair. I’ve never left a salon happier with my hair. Highly recommend! Love the vibe at Badaro, this salon will definitely be my go to when visiting Wellington.

   Laine at Badaro is the best hair stylist I’ve ever met. I went to her for the first time a year or so ago after never finding a hair stylist who worked for me and I hit the jackpot! She is so caring and really listens to what you want, she really understands hair and will know what looks best. I have recommended her to every person who asks about my hair as she is not only so kind and friendly but so talented. Nobody does perfect layers in hair like she does!

   Rachel gave me the worst haircut I have ever had and did not listen to what I wanted. I asked for the last inch to be taken off my medium length hairstyle so it didn’t flick up when it hit my shoulders and for it to be kept collarbone length. I specifically said I did not want a bob shape. Rachel cut my hair into a bob shape resting just below my chin. The cut is so short I can no longer tie it up which Rachel said I would be able too.I would not recommend this hairstylist as she didn’t listen and did what she wanted not what I asked for.

   I was very happy with the results from my first balayage with Rachel but when I went back to get a retouch after 9 months I was left quite disappointed with the results. The color looked very similar to how it looked before I got the retouch. I am a natural brunette so my hair turns to shades of orange and yellow with time and this is how it continued to look right after the retouch. With my 1st balayage with Rachel (and my second in my lifetime) she achieved an amazing ashy color so I had the same expectations for this time around but it was very sad to see my hair still looked very orange/yellow after spending $451. I honestly do not think I’ll come back after this experience.
