I usually donβt write reviews, but this time I really felt I had to share my experience at Skechers, Queensgate. I had a wonderful visit today. A young lady named Vandhana served me, and she was absolutely amazing. I tried around six pairs of shoes, and while some people might get irritated with that, she stayed so patient, active, and helpful the whole time always with a smile. I ended up buying three pairs of shoes and left feeling genuinely happy with the customer service I received. I had visited the store last Monday and, honestly, the experience was a little disappointing. But today was completely different this time it was amazing

Iβm very disappointed with the service at the Skechers Queensgate store. I bought a pair of machine-washable shoes about two weeks ago, and after the first gentle wash they turned yellow. When we went back to the store for help, the experience was extremely unprofessional. The staff member we spoke to didnβt know what to do and said she would ask the manager, so we left the shoes there. The next day the manager called just to say they βcanβt do anythingβ and that customer service will contact us instead. No proper explanation, no support, and no effort to help with a product that clearly has an issue. For a brand like Skechers, I expected much better customer care. Leaving customers with no answers and no solution is unacceptable and very disappointing. If you want to buy Skechers shoes, I strongly recommend NOT going to this Queensgate store. Go to another location where they actually know how to help customers.

I usually donβt write reviews, but this experience at Skechers was so disappointing that it deserves to be called out. We walked into the store and bought shoes completely on our own because none of the staff bothered to help. There were barely 2β3 customers in the entire store, and three staff members just standing around, chatting, doing absolutely nothing. It genuinely looked like they were there to pass time, not to serve customers. At checkout, the young lady β who I assume is the manager β didnβt even bother with a basic greeting. No βHello,β no smile, not even a βHowβs your day?β Just a flat β$170β, printed the receipt, and thatβs it. No thank you, no courtesy, nothing. Easily the coldest customer interaction Iβve had in a long time. The worst part? When we raised a simple concern after the purchase, instead of listening or offering solutions, we were told: βYou bought the shoes, itβs your problem. We canβt refund or exchange anything.β Absolutely unacceptable. For a brand as big as Skechers, this level of disrespect and zero customer care is shocking. If this is how they treat paying customers, Iβd rather take my money anywhere else. I wonβt be returning, and I definitely wonβt recommend this store to anyone.

What is meant to set retail apart from online shopping is personalized service from caring and attentive staff. This store completely missed the memo about that. The staff offer no help or assistance, simply stand behind their counter and wait for you to go them. I have never experienced anything like that. Not that I like pushy sales staff either but this takes soft sell to the next level. The result is, no sale and honestly I won't be going back. May as well just do it online. I note that this isn't the first review of this nature. You need to fix it.

Went in on Sunday and a customer told me if you need help you need to go up and ask. The young girl who was "working" really hates her job. We felt that we were an inconvenience. We walked out and went to Platypus where we had excellent service and purchased a new pair of shoes. Note for the manager, there are people out there who really want to work. Please hire them and your sales will go up.

Came in couple week ago with my family, and had a good laugh with a lovely gentleman. We went away to have a think, but what brought us back was the amazing service we received. As I work in retail I know that sometimes the service is more important than the product. Thank you so much Kay for all the laughs, and the shoes!! The only thing I wish we did differently was that mum brought on a seperate day so we could re-experience the service!

My last pair of sketches only lasted 2 months. Cost $150. The sole wore out. My sons $200 shoes only lasted 1 month. Needed restitching and gluing. $350 worth of rubbish. Never ever again. And telling everyone what rubbish the sketches are. Don't buy them.

Third time we have been in. Third time we walked out without purchasing anyting. All three times the staff have not acknowledged us at all, despite the store being quiet. Today the young lady totally & blatently ignored us. We left and bought Sketchers from Platypus upstairs where the team know what service is. Will not go back for a fourth attempt.

I was in your shop last Thursday and I was very impressed with the service I received. The young lady that attended to me was very helpful and patient. The shop got very busy but she and the other assistants were very calm and ensuring everyone was being attended to. Credit to your selection of staff and training of customer service.
