   Really disappointing customer service. The heel fell off a brand new pair of shoes, and the staff here were completely unwilling to help do anything about it. Won't be buying Maher shoes again.

   I've been meaning to write a review for ages as this shop is just fantastic! I recently bought a couple of pairs of boots from the Wellington store online and they arrived promptly with a gorgeous note from the staff, "Thank you Sarah ❤️ Enjoy your beautiful new Maher boots! Love Team Welly xx" with a cute little drawing someone had done of boots splashing in a puddle! Talk about a nice personal touch! I have loved my boots all winter- thank you team Welly!!! I discovered Maher for the first time a few years ago when in Auckland for a business trip and actually video called my husband from the shop as I was so excited to discover such fun and fancy shoes and accessories for men and women! It's been my favourite go-to shoe shop ever since. And the handbags are also amazing and you can often get matching shoes and bags. My only criticism would be that they don't yet have boots for men - my husband has been super jealous of my faux fur lined boots and would love something similar in his size!

   Bought a pair of heels last month and the heels keep falling off. The shoes not even on sales and I paid for full price so I don’t expect them to be in that bad quality. I had it fixed at the store 2 weeks ago because the heel from the left shoe fell off Then now the other one felled off. I came to the store to tell them about this poor quality. The lady today was not even interested in listening or fixing it. She was like if you wore it a couple if times then maybe you should go to the shoes repair behind our store and paid it yourself. Very poor customer service. Thanks for ruining my day. I am happy to pay for my shoes fix but just know that we expect a better quality and as a sale person, you should learn to take on feedback. Maybe more training needed there. Cheers.

   Excellent service. Oliver is great and helped me to decide on the perfect fit. He knew his 'stuff' and was able to tell me about the boots and shoes and how they were made. I will certainly be shopping here again....if I need to buy any more new boots :) boots are so comfortable and great for walking long distances without getting sore feet!

   So thrilled we found this amazing shoe shop. Great funky, classy mens shoes at super reasonable prices. Very comfortable as well. The staff are so friendly and helpful, calling up every store in NZ to find a pair of shoes my fiance wanted. We were only in Wellington two days but we were so impressed we came back twice. Exceptional.

   I really like the people here, they're always super helpful and friendly. The shoes are awesome, and they have both unique designs as well as more "normal" looks. The most comfortable boots I've ever owned are from Maher, though they did wear out quite quickly for the price. Despite that I still went back and bought another pair of similar boots. In terms of pricing, they can be quite expensive, though it depends on which shoes. They also have good sales sometimes, especially at the end of seasons.

   M favorite shoe shop in the world... I have been lucky enough to own about 50 pairs of shoes in my house now!! Most definitely will find a new pair of shoes to take home each and every time you walk in the store. Amanda the nationwide manager is great and always gives me deals when I am in town. Wish I could own this company it's that amazing!!! There are males and females, super MaherX range for the out there kind and even cool belts and casual shoes for him or her who just wants to blend in. Shoes are limited and change each season so get you some italian inspired shoes now!
