The retail assistants are friendly and approachable and the manager here has such positive energy. Peter Alexander is a fortunate company to have such a fantastic team representing them at Queensgate :)

   The ladies were fabulous - letting me browse and try things on without getting in my way but also were there if I had any questions - I left feeling happy and well looked after, - the store was really clean and everything was tidy and sorted. Thank you for pointing out the new fragrant candle (soo delicious).

   I ordered a pj set online and they arrived in the wrong size so I contacted them & they sent a replacement set only for it to arrive in the wrong size again (easy mistake, I wasn’t too bothered at all). I went into the Lower Hutt store with both pairs (with the tags still on and both packing slips) and left the pj sets with them as they were going to contact the distribution centre for me to fix the issue. They were so helpful and would call me with updates. In the end my size was no longer available and I was offered a store credit or a refund which I was grateful for. Gutted I didn’t get my pj set but thankful for the good service I received. Thanks team

   INCREDIBLY POOR RACIST PROFILING SERVICE! On Saturday the 4th of feb I wasn’t greeted I was instantly looked at like I was a thief by two Asian ladies I presume were the managers. they followed me around the store. My husband was incredibly insulted as were my two younger daughters. The older lady then started following me and asked to see inside my bag. As the only coloured person in the store this was absolutely defeating and disgraceful. My family will not shop here again. I’ll travel an extra 25 minutes to shop in Wellington to be treated as a equal. Shame on this store and I presume the manager. My friends and family always get their bag checked here. If you have tattoos or poor clothes or you’re a coloured person don’t shop here. You’ll be asked to open your bag or even chased like one in my family. Absolutely disgusting staff.

   I went into the Lower Hutt Peter Alexander store, and was greeted immediately by a very friendly worker, she was running around the store looking very busy. When she re-approached me she introduced her self and asked for my name. She made great conversation making sure I was comfortable. I wasn’t really sure what I was looking for but she gave me so many great options until I found something I liked. She was helping a couple other people at the same time but made sure we were all taken care of. I’ve never felt so warm and welcomed in a clothing store before. Shiloh is an absolute gem, what an asset to the store :)

   I was shopping at the Queensgate store and I was extremely happy with the service I received today. I didn't manage to find what I wanted as the sizes had been sold through, but I had a lovely sales assistant try her best to help me in finding what I needed, she even suggested a couple of other options which I am going to think about. I asked for her name, her name was Sarah. Just wanted to say thank you for the nice friendly and kind service.

   All four staff members were too busy stocking shelves and gossiping to realise that I was there. There were no other customers. Every time I tried to look at a rack, a staff member came over and blocked it. Fluffing about with coat hangers and what not. Happened 4 times in a row. Then I gave up and walked out. They are not aware customers exist or that they might want to actually look at the stock or buy it. You don't need 4 staff members on the floor of such a small store. But you do need to train the ones that are there. No point in stocking shelves or tidying them if there's no customers, because the staff are rude and oblivious. Won't be back. Wanted pants and a candle. But I'm not buying from rude floor staff.
