Salman really knows what he’s doing , he’s professional, skilled, and very customer-focused. He took the time to listen to what I wanted and gave helpful advice to make sure I got the best result.    Salman is very knowledgeable and thorough! I had been dying my hair with henna for a number of years and it had been getting increasingly dry, so I wanted to switch to salon colour. However, many salons won't dye over hair that has had henna on it because it can be unpredictable. I reached out to Salman and he arranged for me to do a small test in order to check how the dye would take. He clearly has a lot of experience dying over henna, so I felt I was in good hands! Since then, I've continued to return to Salman for both cuts and colour. He has a great eye for colour and a very good understanding of how to work with my hair (fine and dry). He's always very meticulous, pays careful attention to detail, and makes excellent recommendations that work well for my particular hair.

   Yesterday was a great ‘hair day’! Almost a month since my cut with Taylor, I had compliments from workmates when I arrive in the office. And the girl at the Lotto counter’s reply when I said I didn’t have my ticket to check how much I’d won (LOLs) “Well, your hair looks great!” I’d not even styled it that day, just a wash & go in the a.m. Ngā mihi nui, Taylor!    I visited the salon with high hopes for getting beautiful blonde highlights and a root touch-up. The staff was incredibly friendly and kind, and the salon itself had a lovely ambiance. However, I left feeling extremely disappointed with the final result. I had shown the stylist several pictures of myself with the exact hair look I wanted, emphasizing blonde highlights and a root touch-up. Unfortunately, my hair ended up being dyed brown with no highlights whatsoever. It felt like I could have achieved the same result with a box of hair dye at home. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the stylist, I was told that the issue was due to the toner used and that it would wash out over time. Despite this assurance, several weeks later, my hair color remains unchanged. I understand that mistakes can happen, but when I've specifically requested a certain look and provided visual references, it's disheartening to not see that vision realized. The staff's friendliness and the salon's atmosphere were commendable, but the end result fell far short of expectations. I would have appreciated clearer communication about the potential challenges or limitations in achieving the desired highlights. I hope my feedback can contribute to improving the overall experience for future clients. Please note that my intention is to provide constructive feedback and not to discredit the hard work and dedication of the staff. I believe that with some adjustments and improved communication, this salon has the potential to provide exceptional service to its clients.

   I have been very nervous about going short, I have always had either long or shoulder length hair but its progressively getting thinner with age. When I told Taylor that I was keen to go short she was super excited and gave me the best pixie cut! She spent over an hour on my hair with huge attention to detail, it's the best experience I have ever had! The price was so affordable and that means something coming from me because I rarely spend money on my hair. I am so happy with my experience and will happily keep going back . Thank you so much for my super stunning new look!
