Fantastic experience with Kylie, she gave expert advice on colour and style, making suggestions but listening to what I wanted. Took long mousy greying hair to a beautiful bright bob, best haircut and colour Ive had for a very long time. Definitely recommend and definitely will be returning.

Despite their premium prices VIVO is not a 'nice' or at-all professional salon. Thought I would come here since I had a botched hair cut and get the pro's to fix it. I showed them pictures & had a clear goal of what I wanted, which is a simple layered haircut with face framing pieces. But I ended up paying $204!! For choppy, disconnected layers and uneven sides, weird overall shape, and no face-framing bits like I asked. (the stylist was a very young dyed blonde calledkeila i believe) Tried getting it fixed but they were so defensive & kept trying to make me feel bad on the phone. Very disappointing and scammy experience, and i am quite genuinely considering filing to small claims. Bonus pts: - They seem to be motivated to take their time... and conveniently didnt mention that their appt. are only 45mins so they can charge extra for the extra time. - They also keep a record of you so if you had any issues they can cite that you were being' unsure' or 'picky'. (**I've only been to Vivo twice, at different locations in three years, and Inca if you're reading this i didnt bother going back the first time did i?)** Through it all I had a relaxed attitude as I understood my hair was difficult to work with, but at the very very least if they couldnt provide what I asked they should've just said, or communicated what/why it couldnt be done. This says to me they(the stylist) is inexperienced to be charging this kind of price.

Went in for a balayage last week Thursday for an upcoming overseas trip the following Wednesday on the 22nd of March and I was lucky enough to meet the most loveliest hairdresser on the day. During the initial consultation process I was advised that I wouldn’t be able to get the hair colour that I wanted as my hair was too damaged to go through the lighting/colouring process. So I was shown the colour that was achievable at that point. I was a little bit disappointed with finding out the colour that I would end up with but I really needed to get my hair done at that point due to a few prominent grays that I had had right in front of my hairline. Despite the slight disappointment, I ended up loving the end result after spending over $400 which included some of the hair products that I was advised to use. However once done, I noticed that there was barely any difference compared to the hair colour that I had beforehand apart from the fact that it was slightly higher that what it was before. Now fast forward to the following week where I found that my hair started getting a weird orangey coloured shade to it after two washes later. I had followed all of the instructions that I was given by the hairdresser and used my purple Olaplex shampoo although after my second hair wash on Tuesday I noticed that the colour of my hair had started giving my face quite a bit of a weird complexion and it actually made my look quite funny. So I decided to call into the branch around midday and spoke with Inka, one of the staff there to see what could be done for me a I was flying out of the country the very first thing on the following day. I was advised that I would receive a call back from her once she had had the chance to go through the notes under my account to find out what may have gone on. So there I was waiting to hear back from them and around 4 hours later, I decided to give them a call again to see whether they could fit me in for at least a toner but upon speaking to another one of their staff, I was told that were yet to go through my notes and apparently were going to speak to the hairstylist that did my hair. Thus, I was advised that I would just have to wait for Inka who would get back to me ASAP but instead I just ended up wasting most of my day waiting on the staff to get back to me. I mean all I wanted at that point was just a little heads up on whether they would be able to get me in on the day instead of giving me false information of expecting a callback from them. I just needed toner or something to make my hair look a little bit better and would have tried to get myself into another salon to get it done given the fact that was the only time that I had on hand before flying out to another country in the early hours of the following morning which I had mentioned to the during the calls that I had made. Now unfortunately this transaction has left me on bitter note as I as a customer tried my best to see what I could have in the moment but instead I ended up wasting my time. I’ve been to many other Vivo salons before however, this experience was appalling. Unfortunately, the team tried contacting me a bit too late once I had arrived at my next destination. Out of this highly unsatisfying experience, I no longer intend on going to this particular salon ever again! The stress is just not worth it! However I would like my money back!
