   Very disappointing experience. I found a rubber band inside the chilli paneer, which is completely unacceptable and a serious food safety issue. This shows a lack of hygiene and quality control in the kitchen. When you go out to eat, you expect food to be safe. Finding a foreign object like this ruins trust and the entire dining experience. I have taken photos as proof. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves their kitchen practices. Until then, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

   I had a wonderful experience at the Indian Sweets and Snacks shop in Newtown. The food is absolutely delicious, and the sweets are beautifully decorated and always fresh. The customer service is excellent – the staff are friendly and genuinely care about their customers. On one occasion, I accidentally forgot my wallet at the shop. Later that evening, I called them and was relieved to find out they had kept it safe for me. When I went back with my daughter to collect it, the staff were so kind and even offered sweets to her. That thoughtful gesture really touched me.

   Flavour was average. Once poured onto a plate the curry was very watery, no thickness in the gravy/sauces. Servant was rude and quick to rush me out of the way to take the next customers order. They also dont know the difference between Naan and Roti, the naan was flat and made with whole wheat flour (That is a roti). Paid $56 for 2 meals and naans, both of which were very disappointing although they were eaten because we were hungry and short on time and options. We would not recommend for currys. However, their indian sweets are delicious.

   Delicious sweets and snacks, I'm less a fan of their curries personally mostly because I'm used to them without bone in meat which they do here (weak I know lol) but their food has always been delicious and the atmosphere is nice. The mango lassi is out of this world delicious too

   Food is way too expensive if you look at the quantity size. No taste at all. I read reviews but still didn't expect it to be this bad. Atmosphere was not at all clean.

   My go to place for Indian sweets. I think there's about 28 to choose from. I haven't tried them all yet but I'm making good progress and I'm yet to find one I haven't liked. Favorites so far Cham Cham, Lemon Kali, Malai Chop, and Barfi.

   Very nice lunch here. Quick service and friendly staff. Food was so good! Tried the Veg Thali for $14 lunch time, and it filled me up with lots of joy. Tried the dessert as well, the hot gulab jamun was really good. The only Indian restaurant that open in Newtown when others closed. Very great experience. Will definitely come back again
