Beautiful courtyard at the back and staff were friendly and prompt. Was however not impressed by the food. It took a while for our food to come and when it did we expected some stunning stuff but was quite disappointed by how underwhelming the flavours and portions were. We had the the thinest slices of salmon in what seemed like a raw, unfinished blend of tomato paste and 3 slivers of tofu over a spoonful of corn. Focaccia bread with cheese was also awfully plain. We wouldn't have minded small portions or high prices if the flavour payoff was amazing but it simply was not. Everything just tasted really flat, and felt like stuff we could throw together at home. We came here because of the high reviews but wow we left both famished and incredibly perplexed at how this place garnered such high praise.

We visited this cafΓ© twice based on a personal recommendation, and we were blown away. The decor is super fancy, rustic, and vintage. The service is outstanding and very attentive. The cafΓ© is irresistibly delicious, and breakfast was incredibly tasty. There are also vegan options available. It’s a beautiful location filled with lovely details.

Went for lunch. I had free range eggs on toast with spinach and gluten free toast, quite pricey for it. See the picture. Salmon was not available when we were there. Pasta with lamb ragu was tasty and fair price. Well located in Cuba Street, busy at lunch time. Cakes at fair cost. Friendly staff.

Good mood great vibe. Service also nice. When they work with smile. I ate meatball with tomato something. In my opinion a little bit expensive. But so quickly serve for food to us. All good thank you

The coffee is great. The breakfast is amazing ( my favorite are the olive works and waffle of the day). However, 1 star off for the lunch menu as there is not much options, mostly salad dish and a bit overprice. Service is ok. Might have to wait for 15-20 mins for a table especially late morning on the weekend.

An absolute must visit for anyone who’s in the Capital! Great atmosphere with lovely staff and they even have a garden courtyard (basically unheard of in town!). Really like the eclectic, vintage. I had the most perfect poached eggs on a thick piece of buttery sourdough and fresh avocado. Coffee is also fantastic, and they even offer coconut milk. 10/10

We had a fantastic breakfast in the stunnng courtyard. Couldn’t fault the food, the scotch eggs and salad were fantastic. Great service and good coffee. Best Bloody Mary I’ve tasted too. We’ll definitely come back when next in Wellington.

Pumpkin & tofu gnocchi was incredible! Unfortunately chicken thigh disappointing - slaw was soggy in dressing and chicken was over fried. We asked for some hot water to drink and we were pleasantly surprised when they also gave us some thick juicy slices of lemon (for free) to go with it. On a cold Wellington day the covered outdoor area didn’t feel as cosy/enjoyable as the tables inside. Service very attentive & friendly. Rated four stars as gnocchi was a five, but chicken was only a three.
