This place used to be an upmarket Japanese restaurant. In general it’s okay. The lunch specials are tasty and in reasonable portions. For some reason one of our four orders was very late.

Good Chinese food and I heard it's halal. Drinking water is provided on the table. No alcohol in the menu as it's halal. The lunch menu seems value for money. The noodle dish portion is quite big. You can also order white rice separately.

Surprisingly authentic Chinese restaurant in the middle of Auckland CBD. The food is well prepared. It is apparent that they actually take the time to marinate the food for an adequate amount of time using the right seasoning before cooking, which yields an authentic and intense flavor. This is not the typical Chinese restaurant which just dump salty sauce on bland meat. This place is legit! Service was quick and friendly, makes one feel like going home for dinner. All good. I went there twice in three days and consistently failed to take pictures of the food before eating because it was just too yummy.

Had a really wonderful experience dining here. From the moment you walk up the stairs into the main dining room, it feels special—the space is beautiful with gorgeous lighting and plenty of room between tables so it never feels cramped. We were seated straight away despite not having a reservation, which was a nice surprise given the CBD location. The food was absolutely delicious. Every dish was well-prepared and full of flavour. Portions are definitely on the smaller side, but that’s to be expected in this style of dining. Prices are definitely on the higher side, but that’s understandable given the location and quality. The baked prawns with salted egg yolk are definitely a highlight! The drinks were also excellent— though again, the servings were a bit on the small side. Service was spot on—really attentive and friendly without being over the top. The team worked quickly and made sure we had everything we needed. The only letdown was the bathrooms—on the cramped side, with the ladies’ out of order and no toilet paper in the men’s. Otherwise, a fantastic meal in a beautiful setting.

Very easy to order, it's a lovely spot that they've decorated well. We booked online an hour before (on a week day) and almost immediately got a confirmation. No difficulties at all, drinks were lovely and the food was great too. We do regret however getting only chicken dishes, we highly recommend getting a variety so that you can try many different flavours.

Outstanding Chinese food with a very authentic flavour. The atmosphere and interior design make it very unique too. The entrance is terrible, but once you climb upstairs is ok

The Butter Fried Chicken was spicier than I expected but in the best way ever. Ordering was easy. Simply write your order down on the ticket they hand you, and you give it to a waitress once decided. We also got their Basque Cheesecake, which was the perfect ending to a spicy meal. The vibe was really lowkey, chill, and easy-going. 10/10 would recommend and go again.

Great place for authentic Chinese food in CBD. Their beef tenderness is the best in the whole country and spice selection is mind-blowing. Space is equally awesome for family and corporate events. Staff is super courteous and service is very fast. Communication might be an issue so I strongly suggest you to use the custom menu paper and write down whatever you needs are and they will take care of it without any problem. Tried their noodles and Pekin duck platter and it was enough for 3 4 ppl. Couldn't see any wheelchair access.

Amazing taste. It's in city so very approachable. Being vegetarian, ordered vegetarian fried rice and seasonal vegetables. The food was tasty, fresh and hygienic. Ordered spicy and believe me it was hell spicy, but I loved it. Visited again the next day and ordered same food. They are happy to accommodate your requests such as I asked them to not use oyster sauce.
