Formally Dragonboat, it was wonderful to see the restaurant open on Saturday night. Special mention for Felix, who always remembers us (and our favourite drinks). An absolute credit to the business and hospitality industry. Much loved Chinese restaurant for Asian flight crews. Very well deserved. Booking for large groups is recommended as most of the larger tables were reserved.

Dragon Boat is a hidden gem in Auckland. Excellent food in convenient location. We ordered the sweet and sour pork, kailan veggie, prawn with vegetable and fried kuay teow. Desert was coconut jelly. All excellent and fresh! Highly recommended..

A good Chinese spot in the city centre, this has been an established place to come and eat since the 90s. I came here for Yum Cha recently with a group of work colleagues and enjoyed myself. The food was nice and the restaraunt is presentable enough. My only critic is that it is a older restaraunt and could use some new life breathed into it (new decor or new food flavours).

Wish I could rate higher. Service and food are absolutely phenomenal. We enjoyed a variety, as is expected. Everything was clearly very fresh, carefully prepared and delicious. The wait staff are so professional, prompt and courteous. So glad we stopped in.

Ordered a lunch special which also came with an egg tart and soup. Ordered additional rolled steam like noodles rolls with beef which are very nice. The duck and pork rice a , the crispy skin on the pork wasnβt exactly crispy but the taste was still nice. Service from the place was great and friendly and has the thumbs up definitely. Didnβt eat inside the restaurant but there it by a food court sitting area and I found that pleasant with the different music playing by the mall.

Tasty food but very expensive. Half a roast duck is $44 , it consisted of 10 small pieces.. total rip off

The restaurant was just across the street from our hotel. We weren't supposed to have lunch there but we saw that they served dim sum and we wanted to try it. Have eaten better dim sum in Auckland. Prawn dumpling, jellyfish salad and Roast duck were delicious. On the other hand fried crab dumpling and roast porc were a bit dry. Depending on who brought our food, some of the waiters/waitress were really friendly, welcoming and tried to make you enjoy your food and some couldn't be bothered.

Absolute hidden gem! Good food and great prices compared to other places. Would definitely come back again. The radish cakes and sesame balls were amazing!

You have to order yum cha dishes as opposed to picking ones you like when dishes are brought to your table. Staff are friendly. The food were OK, not excellent.

This restaurant was one of the few that were open late on Elliot Street which was convenient. The waiter was very attentive and the food was pretty good but lacked flavour. There were a few vegetarian options on the menu but vegan ones werenβt labeled clearly. One thing that was not ideal is that we were charged an extra $2.50 for rice that would have normally come with a Lo Han Jai (monkβs dish) at other restaurants. The price is also a bit too steep for a restaurant of this quality. Though the venue is quite nice the portion sizes and quality of food served does not quite match the high end dining prices. Actually the first thing I noticed was that this restaurant serves shark fin and the live lobster tank was at the front of the restaurant so right off the bat I was a little bit repelled. I didnβt ask the staff about these dishes so I canβt comment further on how ethically these were sourced. Normally I wouldnβt give 4 stars but all things considered this is the most accurate rating I can give.
