I come here pretty much every week and usually have the Dahl Tadka, one of the best dahls I've ever had. Also love the Indian tea. Nice people, friendly service. I've never had to wait long for my order and the prices are good. Can definitely recommend!
Restaurant was our local favourite for years and after two years being away, the food and service is still excellent. The Amritsari fish entree is outstanding, spices and soft fish are perfectly balanced. Also tasty is their special, Goat Curry. Sagwala chicken is also a favourite, all such beautiful flavours. The garlic naan is fluffy yet crispy on the bottom. Glad we have leftovers to take home. Highly recommended.

Bland lamb Rogan Josh with dry lamb and not spicy at all. Onion bhaji was soggy, not at all crunchy. Roti was thick and felt like cardboard. Edit: Picture now attached with the review, since the owner insists that it's fake.
By far the best place in North Shore or even Auckland for Authentic Indian food. We have been to this place more than a dozen times and every time we are impressed more than the time before. Food is at the best price and the taste is to die for.

This is easily my favourite Indian restaurant in Auckland and we have been to many across the region. I have been to this location several times for takeaway but last night was the first time I actually dined in. There is a great atmosphere, nice staff and we generally felt welcomed. The best part is the food which does not disappoint as it is fresh and tastes fantastic. The Indian style butter chicken with cheese naan never gets old. I will be back again, highly recommend!
