“We have been part of the Kids Campus whānau since 2020, when our son started childcare at 6 months old. From our very first visit we have had nothing but a positive experience. Kids Campus has a small intimate space for babies, and a beautiful over twos space with a large outdoor area. With low ratios, long serving staff and little staff turnover, building and maintaining meaningful relationships is Kids Campus’s superpower! The centre offers care that is an extension of home building on whānau aspirations and extending on what each child brings to the centre. The environment is always set beautifully to offer a range of activities, extending on planning displayed and the current interests of the children. We cannot recommend Kids Campus highly enough! “I signed myself and my son, who has high functioning ASD, ADHD and ODD, onto the Equine Dynamics Assisted Learning Program for mother/son, followed by the family herd program for mum, dad and son. It has been the best program we’ve ever done and we’ve been on a few. It has made a real impact on our family life. We have continuous challenges at home with aggression, lack of respect, uncontrollable impulses, emotional dysregulation and generally an unhappy environment because of the ongoing challenges. Leanne and her horses are amazing teachers. Teaching life skills and providing tools to help us and our son to recognise and understand how to deal with his emotional dysregulation and function as a connected family unit within the home and everyday life. We will always have huge challenges but this has gone a long way in helping us and our family. I cannot recommend it highly enough.”
