My son (15) has started with him and he couldn't be in better hands. He is learning and progressing quickly and he absolutely loves it! It's walking distance from our house which is an added bonus... “I went along to a weaving class with Andrea where we made a basket. It was so amazing! She taught us how to harvest our harakeke, prep our harakeke and then weave it into a basket. The group was small so she was able to do 1 on 1 with each of us if we were struggling. She also started and ended the session with karakia and taught us a karakia/song that we could use when harvesting. She answered any questions we had about harakeke and was a great teacher. It was a great class. I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to learn how to weave :)”
