We definitely felt comfortable asking any and all questions without feeling like we're dumb. We have a 6 month then yearly catch ups to go over our plan and make sure it's still working for us or make any adjustments needed to make our money work for us and our mortgage. I can't forget our favourite thing that we didn't get from our previous bank, debtnav, we can put all our income, expenses and financial goals into debtnav and it spits out a graph of our progress, whether we're ahead of our plan so keep doing what we're doing or if we're behind and need to see if there's something we need to change if it wasn't just a one off unexpected expense. We can even play with the figures in a draft to get an idea if something could work out for the better or worse financially before going ahead and changing it in our actual plan. We also feel like we can still live and not be a slave to our mortgage NZHL have definitely made us feel more in control and can manage our finances to the best of its ability. They can also make a pretty alright coffee for our appointments”
