“I went along to a weaving class with Andrea where we made a basket. It was so amazing! She taught us how to harvest our harakeke, prep our harakeke and then weave it into a basket. The group was small so she was able to do 1 on 1 with each of us if we were struggling. She also started and ended the session with karakia and taught us a karakia/song that we could use when harvesting. She answered any questions we had about harakeke and was a great teacher. It was a great class. I absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to learn how to weave :)”

From day 1 they have been such brilliant teachers and everyone genuinely cares about all the children. The centre includes all food and eat such healthy and delicious meals. As a working parent since 7 months old, knowing your children are well loved, eating nutrious meals, are getting a fantastic education is a huge weight off my mind. Regular excursions in the van from parks, swimming, dancing etc which makes the days different for the kids. It's such a community amongst the families where we all get together to celebrate mothers day, Matariki, fathers day and Christmas. Working in another ECE centre makes me appreciate it even more!”
