“Birthday Boy. My wife booked two nights at Moose Lodge as a surprise for my birthday. I had no idea where we were going and when we arrived at the gates I couldn't believe we were going in to Moose Lodge. We were greeted and welcomed by Bevan. We were given a guided tour of the lodge and were blown away by the amazing point of difference displayed. Quite rare and an extra ordinary location and aspect with a stunning, calming view. Lovely rooms, quite and discreet. Beautiful meals and add to that the thermal pools, golf on a site with a quite challenging 9 holes. From the start of our stay & experience Bevan, Shirley and staff treated us with sincere friendliness and amazing service. We recommend people wishing to relax, enjoy and unwind that the Moose Lodge experience should be put at the top of your list. We will be back. Thank you”

The Chinese back and neck massage was exceptional applied with the correct amount of pressure that I had asked for. The facial was wonderful too using natural products. “In the 25 years I've lived in New Zealand, I've never experienced hotel service like yesterday. When I requested a room change because the room was a little uncomfortable, the hotel manager was happy to accommodate me. They replaced our room and also split the single bad and adjusted it to the twin bed. All the staff were friendly, the staff serving breakfast in the restaurant were very friendly, and the food was delicious. Also, when I slept at the hotel last night, it was so comfortable and quiet. Thank you to all the hotel staff.”
