“I attended this school from 2006-2011 which was a very long time ago but I think it is a very good school, I remember we had a History day where we learnt about Riverhead and had to dress up in Clothing of the time period of the earlier settlers and the teachers put so much effort into it, it really felt like we wentback in a time machine. The point of that long story is because I think they put so much effort into all the events or special days like Pizza day/ Sushi Day/ Rewards day/ Water sports day/ Mufti Days/ Coin Trails. It was a very long time ago that I attended this school but I think it is a wonderful school based on my past experiences... Not sure what it's like today though.”
“2Mar17 In 1993 my wife and I brought our son here for his first day of school; 23 years later I am back with my two of my son's daughters. The five year old started school four weeks ago. It is a great little school. Still out in what Kiwi's call "the country" (rural) on a margin of the nearby urban housing areas. Now as with almost all schools this one has a perimeter fence around with locked gates to prevent entry/exit during school hours. I see more ethnic diversity than 25 years ago. And more prefabs.”
