At Arin Sushi & Dumplings, the menu stays Japanese‑leaning with tidy execution. Service stays present without fuss. Bento and small plates make for an easy spread. Portions are generous yet well judged.
“A local favourite, this welcoming, spacious sushi place always has a wonderful selection of your favourites and free miso.”
“Very enjoyable and easy to associate and fantastic food”

“friendly service with very delicious taste!!!”
“Stunning designer product from both NZ and Europe.”
“Great place to stay owners are great people and looked after us.”
“KĀPUNIPUNI. Waikato Regional Theatre's curtain is almost ready to rise for the first time as construction wraps up and the first shows are announced. Homegrown artist Teeks will headline the public opening night on January 23, with his show Te Ao Whakahira. This multipurpose performing arts centre around a 1300-seat auditorium, with circle balconies and flexible staging, able to host drama, kapa haka, orchestral concerts, rock-pop-and-rap gigs, musicals, ballet, opera and community ceremonies.”
“First time visiting this theatre. A lovely comfortable venue that is being lovingly updated and renovated but maintaining its charm and intimacy.”
“Fantastic quiet and rural location, great quality bed and breakfast.”
“We enjoyed our two night holiday. We would definitely want to stay here again in future.”
“Amazing location, amazing hosts, gorgeous character home so close to the beautiful beach and the cafes and shops of downtown Mount. It doesn’t get much better!”
“Many good things in Civic Square.”
“The black beach with the stones was really unique. We had a lot of fun here with the kids. It was completely different to a pristine beach with white sand - but it was still really beautiful.”
“Surpassed expectations - fantastic location, tasteful decor, and the deck/patio area is amazing: the photos don't do it justice.”
“Food is yummy, need more sauce on kebab, not a huge range of sauce available either”
“A friend took me here for breakfast and it was beyond delicious! Coconut buns warm from the oven; yummy fa'ausi (taro in coconut caramel cream to die for). Massive choices of savouries and sweets, so I bought lunch to take home as well - a very hearty helping which will easily make 2 meals. It was one of the best breakfasts I've ever eaten and I will be back again and again. A beautiful little family-run Pasifika secret (with an A Certificate) which deserves to be better known. Also easy on the budget in such difficult times.”
“I was pleasantly surprised with the food here. The big breakfast was so good. Usually when I see ciabatta on the menu it’s always hard to cut but omg this was the best, so buttery and so soft! The cabinet food was also great, classic NZ cream donut. I will be going back :)”
“What a great place to discover. This friendly bar and restaurant about 60 metres from Waiwera beach has the relaxed beach vibe in abundance. Inside there is a restaurant end with about 8 tables, then there is a bar area which opens into a covered outdoor area with pool table and pizza bar with wood fired pizzas. Service was friendly and functional and the business seems to be family run. Food was excellent. Best lamb shank I’ve had in ages with excellent flavours. Prawn salad was also very good. Beer was ice cold and they had a good collection of spirits as well as smoothies and non-alcoholic drinks. I think for me the relaxed atmosphere was what I enjoyed the most - like stepping into some place you’ve known all your life and instantly relaxing. Waiwera town feels a bit run down but the history with the hot pools (now closed) is interesting and it has retained its sleepy charm. If you’re going to Wenderholm consider lunch or dinner at Sugarloaf beach bar.”
“My first choice for shopping fruits and vegetables. Some fruits are not the freshest but okay if consumed within a couple of weeks. They used to have a very rude and dumb butcher a couple of years ago when I didn't want shop meat there, but now all are nice and friendly. Generally a nice place for produce and Asian foods.”
“My go to for good island food. Panakeke and chop suey for lunch atleast once a fortnight. Took a bag of Panakeke to a European party, and they were devoured.”
“Had a $15 takeaway plastic box on the buffet type ting and after having a little bit of everything on the buffet type ting, I now wish I bought a $20 box instead. Everything on the buffet type ting was full of flavour and tasted very authentic. 10/10 would eat more of everything on the buffet type ting when I go here again”
“Tasty Homely food Located right in the centre of the Auckland city CBD, just behind saravanaa bhawan , good option for vegetarian indian travellers. Food tastes yummy, just like indian street food, i felt like i am eating at my home.. kids loved the food too. Quite popular with locals. There is no dining place though, so you have to Take Away only. Qty is good and 1 dish is sufficient for 2 people ! Reasonably priced too !!”
“This place is a hidden gem. Been coming here for years with my partner, we were blown away by the Sichuan chicken (spicy and delicous) and it has kept the same great quality the whole time. Highly recommended. And the owner is really nice”
“I’ve been coming to Burger Bella Sunnyvale ever since they opened, and they’ve never missed. The food is always fresh, hot, and full of flavour. I’ve seen some of the negative reviews, but most seem to be from Uber Eats deliveries — and that’s not the same as getting it straight from the store. Every time we pick up in person, it’s perfect. The owner is genuinely welcoming and makes you feel like family, which is why we’ve been loyal regulars from day one. Not to mention their generosity to my little niece we really do appreciate their kindness, as well as their team!!”
“Had dinner here the other night here indulging in some quality food. Never dissapoints with service everytime I come here. I ordered the king prawns, oysters, brocollini, flounder and eye fillet to share with my mother and we both left satisfied. Great value too if you have accorsplus so you can benefit from the dining discounts.”
