“Fantastic service at Stewart Dawsons Te Awa, from Simon - resized the bracelet for a watch bought online elsewhere, and didn't charge me a cent for it! While i waited, the other staff were friendly and helpful, letting me look at other watches they had on display. “We often visit this shop as we have family on Waiheke. The kids love buying affordable jewellery for their friends and it's a great place to get some clothing suitable for the island. We have always felt welcome there and the staff play a good second role as a tourist information service. The fact that it is quirky and unusual and a far cry from the chain stores in the city is a bonus . It is a small , busy shop and in these Covid times maintaining social distancing must be difficult to manage. It is great that Waiheke has managed to keep the local shops going as it is such a huge part of the village charm.”
