“After emailing ~10 financial advisers looking for some general planning & guidance Raiden's response stood out the most. Sadly, in many cases, the FAs who responded seemed disinterested and surprisingly dismissive - I can only imagine this contributes to so many of us putting off financial planning! Raiden came across as someone who agrees FA is for everyone, not just the wealthy. Even via email I found him engaging and easy to talk to. We had an initial session after I'd completed the self assessment he shared, it was so helpful to see where I'm on track, and where I had opportunities to improve/ think a little differently about my finances. I left our session with a few simple 'quick wins' to get started with, and some guiding principles around money management. I don't have the typical financial goals that many people do (e.g. saving for a house, or to have children etc), but that didn't matter - Raiden's approach is focused more around a clients personal values, and he helps to build a financial picture from there. I'll be recommending him to my network as someone to reach out to.”
