Proprieter remembers my history and context too so I feel safe and looked after when I go there. Main downside for me is that there always seems to be some othe tempting thing there for me to buy when I go in! Cutest little dog shaped wheat bags, knick knacks on sale - deadly to my wallet!”

The neighborhood is quiet and safe, with sidewalks for a pleasant stroll. Chris is awesome, going the extra mile to make us feel at home. She was very responsive and kind. We appreciate the ability to cook a few dishes, the convenient location and definitely miss the nice hot tub!”

“This was our first time at the Grooming Room. My big baby (Labradoodle) was a complete mess after lockdown. The ladies warned that she'd probably have totally bald patches and that she may have terrible skin irritation. She came out just beautiful, without any patches. Even her ears were pretty after having a few big matts. Doggy was calm and well behaved during the whole process. Very impressed.”

“We were very impressed with the facilities at Te Aroha campground. We stayed in a campervan on a non powered site. Appreciated the oak trees and the shade they provided on a hot summers day. The pool was fantastic, amazing views out to the mountain. We appreciated the hot spring/mineral hot tub after climbing up mt Te Aroha.
