“Very Autism Inclusive. Such a supportive and nurturing team and environment. I highly recommend.”
“We love Otorohanga Central Kids. Our son absolutely thrives here and just adores all of the teachers. When searching for child care I viewed a few local centres and this one was by far the one we felt most comfortable at with a large outdoor space for the kids and lots of cool activities! We couldn’t be happier and will definitely be sending our second child here!”
“Tendershoots is such a special place, super caring teachers, incredible space (especially outdoors). Highly recommend”
“The best kindy in all of Hamilton. After looking around at a number of centres, the quality of Chapel Hill is far superior. First off, they actually have lawn, with an additional natural play forest area. The yard is very spacious and private, has a huge sand pit, and great playground equipment. There is plenty of shade to protect the kids from the sun, as well as plenty of space to ride the bikes! The classrooms are awesome. Really clean; everything is in designated areas, which is such great way to keep kids accountable for what they use. Majority of the equipment is wooden or natural materials, and all are open ended. The room never looks cluttered, but actually beautiful - Aesthetically pleasing to the eye. The toilets are user friendly, and spotless!! Never have I seen cleaner bathrooms than these. My little girl can actually independently access the toilet and bathroom, and have good hygiene. It’s a real sigh of relief. I have also been so impressed by the faith-based community! They are really intentional in including biblical principles and practices into the learning and daily routine. It’s reassuring to know that my child will be in good hands, and have Christian values shared with her. The best aspect are the staff. They have the perfect balance being busy cleaning and arranging activities, but also actually wanting to be with the children, taking the time to notice, engage, encourage and spend time with them on a personal level. Their openness makes everyone easy to approach, and Clare was so amazing in our enrolment process. All the staff just really care about the children, and actually look like they love their jobs. Thank you Chapel Hill.”
“Maxime, Stéphanie and Lucy The best kindergarten ever in Hamilton.”
“The sweetest little centre with great teachers and a really lovely environment. Highly recommend.”
“Very loving kindy! Teachers go above and beyond for the children. My son absolutely loves it highly recommend”
“My wee man has settled in really well. Lovely people.”
“simply the BEST centre in Hamilton in every way.”
“We honestly couldn’t be happier with the care that we get here for our son. He has been there now for over a year and across two of the rooms at the centre (Koru and Tawa). He was at another centre previously and would have an absolute melt down every time he was dropped off. We just thought it was normal, until we started at The Park! I now hardly even get a good bye when dropping him off! All the Kaiako at the centre have been great to deal with. They know his quirks, and greet us by name every time we come in. Special dietary needs (as he was dairy intolerant) are all catered for, and they work to make sure there is good variety and monitor their actual eating, even for this fussy fella! There are activities nearly every day that help develop his motor skills, but also life skills! At just over 2 years-old now, his new favourite activity is to ‘I Cook’ and set up at the kitchen counter every dinner time to help get the family meals sorted. They also have access to a local play ground and large greens behind the facility (hence The Park) that they regularly go on excursions with the kids out in their Centre Sun Hats, and always provide notifications via the facilities app when they are heading out, a much appreciated update. We get some of the most amazing stories about his daily adventures through the app, and my family overseas are all signed up so they can stay up to date with how he is developing. So in summary, their waiting list to get in speaks volumes to the service they provide. Thank you to all of staff that that help care for him every day!”
“Our son loves going to daycare, he has been going Rototuna Early Education since 14 months old and is now nearly 3. Staff are nice and friendly and the centre has a great outdoor area for the kids to play in.”
“At first we are hesistant to send our kids to daycare unsure for their health, safety and emotional needs to be taken care of. When we learn about Pukeko Treehouse through our friends, we were convinced to give it a try and the rest is history. I can vouch on their integrity as clean, hands-on, supportive, accountable, and have a tender loving care to every kids under their care. Personally, I highly recommend Pukeko Treehouse daycare.”
“3 of our children have attended Big Hugz. 2 of them with neurodivergence and our youngest with a physical disability. Yvonne and her team are and have been amazing throughout our daycare journey and our children that have maintained close relationships with their teachers. Would 1000% recommend if you're looking for an intimate setting with smaller numbers for your children.”
“The best daycare centre ever!! The staff is amazing, always friendly and approachable. Great variety of fun and educational activities indoors as well as outdoors for my little one. Will most definitely recommend this centre to anyone!!”
“A wonderful preschool. Our daughter attended for 2 years before school and she loved it. There is a lot of outdoors time, including a morning walk each day, and time spent with animals and on the farm. The teachers are all wonderful, and there is minimal staff changes which allows the children to be settled and safe. The children have a good routine, while still being allowed free time to explore and be themselves. I would recommend this preschool to anyone wanting independent, confident and kind children, as these are the attributes I believe Newstead Preschool teaches.”
