“A B&B run by a very friendly, warm and welcoming couple. Norm and Maggie went out of their way to make my stay at their home an enjoyable and comfortable one. They even made supper and placed it the room with the heater and TV going ready for my arrival. Topped off with a full and hearty breakfast in the morning. “I went there on my honeymoon. Honestly, I don't speak English well, so we couldn't really talk much, but I could really feel their kindness. It's been nine years since we last visited, but I still remember it vividly. And the lemon tree in front of our first-floor room is so memorable. The scenery was beautiful.”

“I thought it would be cold in the South Island in winter, but instead it was sunny and tree-lined. I'm in Lincoln, staying at Chateau Pritchard. It's not far from Christchurch, but it's quieter than Christchurch. There's a famous university here, Lincoln University. It is easy to drive to various attractions from here. The owners are an amiable couple with their gentle dog. I loved walking barefoot on the grass in their garden in the morning, listening to the birds singing and soaking up the sun. At night we sat in the open-air SPA bathtub and looked up at the skyfull of stars. Barbara, the owner of the house, a lady with a sweet smile, can cook all kinds of delicious food. During our stay, she gave us a lot of help, just like our relatives. I highly recommend it and would choose to stay here next time if I had the chance.”
