Staff are always so friendly and helpful and there's usually a really good range of quality yarns with lots of different price points for many budgets. We're so lucky to have this store in the Bay.

We went back to Skeins after a long absence, partly driven by the high cost of wool elsewhere. The added bonus is the very helpful assistants and free patterns. A gem.
I love the yarn but find the colours showing online do not match the colour of the actual product, and I check on 3 devices to make sure it's not just me. My first order I sent back and got a credit which is great, but it costs me to send back of course. I have just received my second order and the colour is sooo different to the colour pictured online! I had rung and spoken to them to discuss colours but, as helpful as they were, it's hard to describe colours online. I don't want to send back and get another credit (because of the cost of postage) and I don't hate the colour, but I probably will not be buying online again - only in person, which is unlikely as I hardly ever get to Napier.

Absolutely the most helpful and knowledgeable staff. Today I was helped by Veronica and nothing was too much trouble to explain to me. I have used this company on previous occasions and would not hesitate them as your go to wool suppliers.
I order online from Skeinz, I find the quality of their wool excellent. Shipping is quick and efficient. This is my go to wool shop, I would strongly recommend them to any people looking for wool or knitting supplies.
I am so happy with Skeinz and the way they pack and post my purchases. Got home to the letter box which is not very water tight to find that my packaging was wet but my wool is clean and dry even when delivered in a storm. Thanks for packing with kindness you guys are the best.
