   We had 2 fabulous nights recently dining at Fugue. The owners Nat and Nicki were so warm, friendly and welcoming. We left Fugue on our second evening feeling like we had made some new friends. While the restaurant may not have the same ambiance as others along the Esplanade the service is wonderful and the food was amazing . It was the menu on the outside wall that drew us in on a recent Friday evening. Even though it reads like traditional a la carte the mains and sides all come out on one large wooden platter ..the presentation is beautiful and the food was so delicious . I have never enjoyed carrots so much.. We enjoyed it so much we came back with friends the next night and had pre ordered a lobster . Once again friendly warm service and divine food. Thoroughly recommend. Thanks so much Nat and Nicki. Your restaurant should be full every night !

   #Exploring the store # Dunedin, there is a strong wind blowing on the road to Queenstown, with a red warning Police, we can't continue moving forward. We've decided to stay overnight at the city center. Today，the wind was calm and the waves were quiet. I found a seaside restaurant and leisurely enjoyed breakfast. big Breakfast fully awakens the taste buds and cheers up me all day long. Store guy Eli very enthusiastic, always answering questions.

   We went here for a date night to try something new, and we are so glad that we did. The restaurant has a lovely feel to it, and very friendly service from the staff. Happily explaining how it all works here, and roughly how much to get for 2 people. The food is a build your own gourmet platter. (which explains why the food prices seem low) You get a wide variety of small servings of some of the most delicous food in Dunedin. We've been back for brunch now, and it is equally delicious and fantastic service again. The eggs were perfect, the hollandaise excellent. Thank you! Going to be bringing people back for sure, and telling anyone who will listen! Thank you Fugue!

   Lovely little Cafe that is a bit of a hidden gem. Lovely decor includes a piano for guests with chops. good choice for after church or after work. Hosts are willing to reserve table space ahead of time.

   This is the second time have been to this cafe in last few months. Attentiveness with their service & food is light and tasty. I had the prawns which were full of flavour. Others had full breakfast & mushroom soup. Great coffee. Nice views of sea. We will be back

   I ordered citrus slice, iced chocolate and eggs on toast with bacon. Friends got scrambled eggs, an oat mocha, the mushroom soup, and raspberry fudge. Citrus slice is delicious. Iced chocolate was good. Mocha was well made, scrambled eggs are fine, fancy bread. Soup is good, fancy bread but no butter or spoon :( Raspberry fudge was pretty good Great vibes and music and lovely furniture gives a unique feel. Friendly staff. Cosy. Would come again.
