   We ordered Sweetcorn fritters with salad-17.50 each- we received to dark brown deep fried dripping with oil patties that had a few corn kernels in them with large cabbage chucks and carrot rounds covered in mayonnaise. I am in my mid 60s and this is the first meal every that I could not eat in a cafe. Two people had this order and both left it on the table. I cannot believe you charged money for this plate of food and was happy to send it out.

   Nice full cup, which is great to see (thank you), but still far too expensive! $6.40 for a coffee is too much. . . Costs are nowhere near to this and the profit is huge! 5 months later and prices are up again, still shabby and unwelcoming.

   This cafe is a really mixed bag, and could be so so nice. The service and staff were great, very friendly and very quick. However the food was pretty bad. I ordered a BLT with fries. Chips tasted stale/undercooked and the sandwich didn't have much filling but huge pieces of bread. Really disappointing. Price wasn't too bad but still not great for the quality. The drinks seem to be decent though, probably 3/5. I got a coffee which was decent, not great but I'm not a coffee snob so it's no biggie to me. The cafe itself has very little decoration, and doesn't look particularly nice. Could do so much more with the setting, perhaps some plant stencils on the wall, some more potted plants, new lick of paint. The view of the gardens is the best part. Honestly pretty disappointed, but definitely not on the staff. They're great people, but I won't be eating their again for a while. Would certainly get a coffee again though

   Went to this cafe yesterday the hot chocolate was cold and when I told them it was the lady was rude. The floor was dirty looked like it hadn't been lux in days.The tables are sticky. The cafe needs done up . It looks terrible in side not very inviting. Won't go back here again. It's a shame they have let it go as the gardens are beautiful.

   Went there a few times with a friend. Friend complained they always made his coffee too hot out of all the cafes he visits. Ordered a raspberry smoothie there once, wasn't impressed for the price ($9.50). The manager has always been cold to me and to top it all off this was the only cafe that chastised us for snacking.

   Great location within the Botanical Gardens, with potential to be a great cafe. High prices for menu and cabinet items, and prices not listed on cabinet foods. Check before committing to buy. Quality of food could be better for the higher price point.

   I visited there with my family. They were very friendly and nice. Also, coffee was amazing. I love to drink again. But chicken burger was disappointed to my husband. They may use frozen chicken patties although it was $16.5. However l am happy with diablo. It was $13.5 and it is a reasonable price.
