The gallery is a lovely asset to Hastings. Exhibitions are well presented and offer insights into local Nz artists and creators. Great place to visit.
Not much to see unfortunately. From the outside looks amazing. Cool they do kids art free stuff in holidays though.
Small but still nice art gallery. Lots of sunlight in all the rooms. It had a very impressive collection of college students art collage.
Great exhibitions and artist talks. Helpful staff, easy parking.
We attended the vr tour and it was a good experience but the time given wasn’t enough to try all the different vr sets unfortunately. The lady that was taking the tour was just trying to kick us out near the end of the tour so it didn’t feel very welcoming.
For what is a small city in global terms, the Gallery consistently features a wide range of exhibitions. It also keeps children in mind with activities and space to show their creative abilities. The white Lego bricks last year was a (literally) a huge success.
We loved the interactive exhibits and activities during the school holidays. Really nice little gallery.
