Trying to make their sandwiches look really full with a couple slices of ham but once you open it only small strips at the front, disappointing
Yummy pies. Especially the mince and cheese. Also tried their afghan biscuits very tasty. They also have a breakfast menu we realized after sitting down so order an omelet it was a good size and only $16 and came with 2 pieces of toast. We also added on 2 hash browns $2 each. Nice atmosphere dinning in. Coffee was taste great.

Best pies in Hastings HANDS DOWN! Without a word of a lie, these pies are amazing and a steal @ $5.50! Superb tasty fillings and the most delicious flaky, melt in your mouth pastry, I’ve tasted in Heretaunga. Great coffee at a very reasonable price too ($5.50 for XL Latte). I’ve also tried dine in - the Eggs Benedict was lovely and great value @$11.50. Super quick service too from this little local family owned/run business. My favourite!!!
Consistent food, drink
Had the omelette couldn't taste the cheese should use cheddar cheese slice. Gives the eggs another lift

These guys tho! When heavens shut down I thought I'd never have great pie again, then the pie man came, and then I moved. In a new town I'm like "where's all the pies" I found them here, along with delicious egg bene (cheap) and the best pepper steak or steak n cheese in hastings!
Love this place, very friendly service, the meals are excellent and great value, the bakery food is yum, go here quite often.
