Food is tasty and well priced and a good range from cabinets, service is always great. Havnt sat down for a proper meal but my favourite bakery in hawkes bay!
From the moment I bit into my butter chicken pie I could tell that these guys do not know how to make BC. This BC pie consisted of tomato paste and boiled chicken. It's fair to say it was disgusting and completely unappealing. I had previously had a BC pie from the Karamu Rd Bakery and Cafe four years ago. That pie was also gross. I thought I'd give them another shot only to confirm my worst fears. It's fair to say that cooking an Indian .style food is not in their DNA. Terrible food. I won't go there again.
I have eaten here a few times, the food is 100/10, customer service is over and beyond. They are fast and efficient, they greet every single person that comes into the shop and wishes them well when leaving, extremely welcoming. They have a great selection of cafe and bakery food. Great family owned business. You won't be disappointed when coming in. Best Eggs Bene I've had in the HB
Customer Service is always welcoming Greeted with a smile and farewelled so nicely you always want to go back . Thanks for always keeping me fed at lunchtimes . Highly recommended if you are ever hungry and wanting good bakery food.
