We ate here 2 nights in a row. Brie our waitress was so accommodating and helpful. Harrison the barman made brilliant cocktails. The atmosphere and quality of food was outstanding. So flavorsome!
Sat lunch visit was an enjoyable affair over stone grilled steaks. John and Angel were friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the fillet, sirloin and custom grill so much so that we added a wagyu burger to go. The red wine, pepper and chimichurri sauces were on point too. There's a virtual driving range simulator that we would have tried if we didn't jeed to head off elsewhere.
My partner and I came here for a "date night" the atmosphere was electric, the service was a little slow to start with but had an amazing manager named Angel who looked after us and kept making sure we were ok. She went above and beyond, her customer service and enthusiasm was electric just like the atmosphere. It may have been a few days before Christmas but honestly, the wagu beef burger my partner had was throughly enjoyable and highly recommend. My main was a little too big but apart from that, honestly still a great place to go!!
Had an awesome evening at Craft Bar & Kitchen! Enjoyed some great beers and a delicious dinner — the food was absolutely amazing. Special shout-out to Libby for her friendly service and making the experience even better. Highly recommend!
Lovely food, our wait staff was extremely polite and helpful. The cookie skillet is a must try. I'd go there just for that. Stone grill option for the kids and they loved the experience.
Blonde with the glasses provided such bad service we walked out. She looked annoyed at us for being there, told us to go ‘sit over there’ and went back to the bar to eat instead of bringing us menus or asking someone else to do it. One of the worst service experiences I’ve ever had, would never come back here if that’s how they train their staff.
My niece and I went there for lunch last week Friday. We loved the ambience. The service was excellent. We enjoyed our delicious omelettes with coffee. All good. Thank you!
Relaxing atmosphere in a bar with some grilled foods as well as other pub food. Serving food at for different times, meaning people staying eating at different times.. Not that comfortable, especially as one of them was the stone grill. Nice concept for people who like to grill their own food, but annoying if foods do not come in the right order.
Had dinner here tonight and honestly what a lovely evening we had. The food was incredible and our waitress was the best I wish we got her name so she could’ve acknowledged :) anyway we will be back for sure.
This was the best meal we have had in 2 and a half weeks in New Zealand, one we will remember for a long time to come. Our server, Keesha (sp?), was terrific — prompt, helpful with suggestions but not overbearing, and Kiwi friendly — and her warm welcome set the tone. We ordered Good George Fog City Hazy IPAs (excellent!) and the ribeye with slaw and fries. Keesha suggested the mushroom sauce for the steak, and it was an outstanding addition to the perfectly cooked piece of beef. We topped off the meal with 2 more hazies then the Skillet cookie with ice cream and caramel sauce. Yum. All of it was delicious, the ambience was nice, and the service was exemplary.
