   The sign outside shows that they close at 18h00. I was there 16h54. We are new in the area and I wanted to browse a little and buy some snacks for my dogs. After a couple of minutes the one lady came and asked that I should hurry as they are closing. I asked about the sign showing 6pm, but she said they close 5pm on weekends, which I totally understand, I was not planning on spending hours there, I just really wanted to see what they had, but after that I felt so defeated, that I just paid for the treats and left. I won't be back.

   Staff were disinterested and unhelpful. No eye contact or acknowledgment on arrival. Only other customer in the shop left before me after not being served. After spending a good amount on fish earlier in the month, only to have all of one species (large community tank, no issues) die within 10 days, store said tough luck. No problem. I’ll spend elsewhere. Won’t recommend or support. Animates Hastings…you have staffing and customer service issues.

   Went in with the intention of buying (20) fish + plants for my tank. When I walked in there was 3 staff all at the tills there was no customers in store. Nobody said hello to me after looking for about 20min at the fish and deciding what I wanted still nobody had approached me or acknowledged me I waited for further 5 minutes because I thought they were busy with something but nope just talking and playing with a sticker gun. There was dead fish in the tanks too which was my last straw and I just walked out. Maybe some customer service training would help your employees learn how to work in customer service let alone a pet shop shouldn't they be attentive to the fish to realise there is dead fishys in there so sad.

   Found the items for dog treats were very limited and expensive. Can get the same items in other stores way cheaper. So unfortunately wont be shopping there again anytime soon

   I found them extremely expensive. Their sales staff person didn't really listen to me as to what product I wanted. She talked me into buying something I didn't feel was what I wanted. In the end I let myself be talked into buying it. Have never used it. A waste of $50. More fool me.
