Torpedo7 as a whole is the worst sports shop to order online from! If you order something dont expect it for at least a week. They are almost impossible to contact and sort out refunds. I would strongly recommend ordering from another shop that values there customers more. If there was a lower star rating id give it a negative 5 star for online orders.

Horrendous customer service. I went in looking for a pair of shoes that showed "in stock" on their website but it wasn't on display. Approached a staff member to help look for it in my size and he kept bringing back other kinds of shoes (that were not on sale) and in a different size than I wanted because he was insistent that I should get a size 7 and not an 8. I tried on the size 7 anyway and told him it's too small but then he was very rude to the point of being insulting, saying that I don't know how to pick shoes for my own feet. Likely just wanted to sell me a different shoe that was in stock because the one I wanted was not available... Went to rebel sports instead.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. I went to buy a mountain bike and a kayak as well as accessories, but despite the website saying they had stock in Dunedin and other stores, the salesperson couldn't find it. He just said "we don't have one". I asked if they could check with another store, and I was told 'the website is never right and they won't have any either'. I wasn't even offered an alternative, so I took my money elsewhere. I will never ever buy anything from them again.

Super rude staff, i think his name was ryan or Bryan. We went to ask about the issue with our scooter and he was being super sarcastic and super grumpy and keeps saying things about warranty, we’re not trying to claim warranty or whatever we genuinely want to know the scooter issue. Super disappointed

Got the brake pads I needed and a great demonstration of how zwift works from a very helpful staff member. A store full of delightful attitude from the manager down!!

Honestly this shop is so useless, takes forever to get anything that's not in store and half the time it's not what you ordered.. Arrogant staff as well! I've been to this shop on several occasions and the customer service is always terrible. I'll be shopping at evo cycles from now on. Ive since been back to get a tube changed and for once I actually got Great service, thanks Alex. Maybe management have finally taken the cabbage off and put the head on, and hired some good staff.

Fantastic product range and competitive prices. Best of all great staff with solid product knowledge and service. My bike had a warranty issue and the Torpedo 7 team sorted it efficiently. My bike came home in showroom condition. Thanks Stephan & team. Very much appreciated.

I’ll just share the experience on a rainy day and let you decide. Had a flat bicycle tire and said please check and fix. One young man inflated the tire and said it’s fine in one minute. So I took the bike back to car and found quickly the tire flat again. I visited the store for the second time. They looked and said it might need a new check. I left the bike there and went back 30 minutes later, paid about $18 and was told all good. I took the bike back home, moved it from my car, and found the tire flat again. So I drove to the store and asked for help for third time. Another guy helped and after about 10 minutes told me it’s fine. Then he realized immediately some part was not installed properly. He said sorry, installed it and let me take the bike, without charging me. Conclusion: it's possible you can fix the problem after visiting them three times.
