   I bailed out of the local hardware store because I needed colour advice (it's legit the hardest part). Found the staff so friendly and helpful, a sales representative took the time to help me find the "not outrageous but not too safe either shade of purple" that has me in a whole new level of love with my wee garden shed.    I've always had excellent experiences with this branch of resene in the past, the products are all good quality and reasonably priced, and the staff are generally full of good advice and friendly. I have however encountered one staff member on a couple of occasions lately that leaves me wanting to take a cold shower afterwards. I didn't know getting good professional advice About painting had to be more strenuous than eating a bag of flour.

   Our credit card was charged 40% more than we were quoted, after giving them the card number over the phone. No problem, they’ll just refund the difference, right? Well, no. See, you need a manager to make that sort of a change. And this Resene is so well run that it can apparently can go several days without a manager. We finally just took a full refund and went elsewhere.

   Helpful and friendly staff who are happy to help problem solve when needed. They have big viewing tables for laying out the different wallpaper books, so choosing is easier. They have a lot of different styles for all budgets. We found a quantity of already tinted paint that was reduced in price, which did our lounge nicely. I like their variety of paint pamphlets which helps choosing the colour, they also have one that fans out so you can pick the best to compare side by side in the place that you want the colour.
