   I attended an Appointment for a Routine Mammogram and the staff n the Radiographer were so very professional and happy to recommend this Clinic and facility for any future appointments. I appreciate that they are very booked with patients due to lack of staffing in Te Whata Ora only seeing Inpatients due to lack of funding and a Freeze on Staffing Nationally Thank you for such incredible staff esp Stacie .

   I just got off the phone with my friend who had an ultrasound today to find out if she had miscarried again. She and her partner have been trying to conceive for some time and have experienced multiple losses. The tech started off strong by making a comment on my friends weight in relation to the sheet she would have to put over herself. She then asked questions such as what made her think she was even pregnant, and that maybe it was just a missed period. The internal ultrasound was extremely painful, and the tech was "rough" in the way she conducted it. Having had one myself at TRG myself 10 days postpartum in 2021, I know it feels, and that it is possible to be gentle in your care for the patient and for the experience to not have to be a terrible one. The tech my friend had finished up by handing her some tissues to clean up after the internal, and didn't bother to leave the room so she could do so in peace, or even in a dignified way. Having to justify why you are having to have this ultrasound, to feel like you have to say "but I have proof, I have blood tests" to somebody who clearly doesn't care, when you are going through another devastating loss is one of the worst things I can imagine. The tech was unprofessional at best. When someone is at their most vulnerable and in your "professional care" it is not the time to take a power trip and belittle your clients.

   The front desk is very friendly. How ever, I didn't like the service given from the elder lady there (Sorry didn't get her name). After having to sort a taxi to my scan, she wanted to reschedule me because I didn't have anyone to babysit my toddler..She then added" This is not a baby friendly place". I said " This is reality, I don't have anyone to watch my child besides me".I felt so embarrassed, She gave a smug look and asked if one of the ladies would watch him for 15minutes. They took him with no hesitation and were so lovely with him, However, I'm having my scan, and the old lady again, talks about if i had family to watch my son etc, and that the place is not child friendly. I felt even more awkward. She then added "would be great if you sorted a babysitter to watch him, this place is not child friendly..too many plugs he can touch". I just looked the other way..I felt weird all that moment I was in the room. Im just glad that it was over and that I can finally take my son home. Other than that bad experience..The front reception are so lovely and I truly thank you for watching my son, I know you were so busy and Im very sorry if he caused any trouble.

   Receptionists are all very lovely. However, the old lady that does the pregnancy scan is rude . never going to that horrible place ever again.
