Good selection of appliances. We were assisted by Hugh who was not only clearly very passionate about kitchen appliances, but also exceptionally knowledgeable and patient. This added to the overall appeal of using Kitchen Things when we kit out our new home.
The customer service person was awesome. I have been looking for ages for a pink smeg kettle and was soo excited when I asked if there was still a Christmas special and he gave me a great deal. Would definitely go into store again. Thanks, Jules
I had an issue with the fan on the twin oven Smeg Iād purchased. The team at the Dunedin Kitchen Things and the repair company took my comments on board and replaced the stove. Iām very happy with the outcome and the pleasant way the team handled it. Thank you.
Great selection of high quality kitchen appliances. Staff are always friendly and ready to help. Would love to have the whole smeg small appliances collection one day.
I would like to thank, Hugh for the wonderful service, when our washing packed a sad. He was extremely helpful, getting it sorted for us. His service was so good we brought a new oven from him.
Only three stars, one staff member very friendly and helpful when dealing with other customers to let us know she was coming to assist, the other quickly judged my wife and I as not being able to afford anything assuming we were just looking. No need to assume lady, we won't be back.
Seems like a good place with lots of high quality stock. Unfortunately we ventured in to have a look around for a new washing machine and microwave. The two sales assistants were immeditely stand offish, we recieved no help whilst looking at products, not even a 'Hi guys, how're you going'. The two sales assistants seemed to be looking at each others phones and giggling away for the entirety we were in the shop. Perhaps it was because we are younger (mid 20s), but they clearly thought we were not worth their time. You would think that a company that sells high end products would have a high end service to match, but this is clearly not the case.
Incredibly frustrating company. Was told a cook top was in stock and it came with a $200 cash back deal. I needed this urgently so went ahead with order. Cook top was not in stock and also the cash back deal did not apply. I cancelled order and was told I would have refund that week. Still no refund. They don't reply to phone calls or emails. Very poor.
Lovely business and great to have so many appliances on display (+ working in a cooking display) in Dunedin. Purchased a Neff steam oven & induction cooktop combo. Couldn't be happier. Get along to a cooking demo/class very interesting and you an really see what the appliances can do.
I wish I could write a positive review but my experience was one of disappointment. I had booked online for a cooking demonstration and received confirmation of the date and time however on arrival the store personnel knew nothing of my booking and had subsequently cancelled the demonstration. Just as well Chelsea Winter's books are so good.
