   Just bought some items from the 50% sale but unfortunately the total amount charged was randomly incorrect. Doesn’t amount to full price or half discount price. I had chosen the items due to tagged prices so recollect pretty well however tags were removed on some items and receipt is not itemised so have no way of proving/checking. Was at 4:58pm and didn’t want to hold anyone up, pay-passing without looking and quickly exiting while door closed behind me. Partially my fault for not being more attentive, I usually pay cash but wanted to be mindful of staff counting the till up infront of me. Itemised receipt would be a great idea and clearer priced items so no confusion as I ended up paying a bit more than expected. At least it is for a good cause just frustrating when particular charity shops trade and price as retail shops nowadays.

   Stopped by when I was passing through Dunedin. Good second hand shop. Variety of prices depending on the item and brand. I found a cute pure silk skirt for $8. My new favorite :) I saw a beautiful vintage necklace that I regret not buying only to find out they also sell items online, contacted their customer service and the person I was chatting to was so nice and helpful; they helped me to purchase the necklace online! Thank you

The new space, which is brighter, goods set out well, and still maintains the old charm the last shop had.    I bought online from Shop On Carroll and was delighted with both my purchase and their service. This online charity shop really does stock some lovely quality items. The lightweight jacket I purchased was brand new and works so well with my wardrobe. Will certainly buy from them again. UPDATED TWO YEARS LATER: In the intervening two years I have made many online purchases from Shop on Carroll. I am never disappointed. They select their stock carefully and describe it accurately. Just love this shop. :)

   Disappointing after reading the reviews I thought pop in, got no acknowledgment from staff and honestly what you charge for suspect vintage clothing is disgraceful. If it had a label maybe, won’t return.

   Fantastic wide variety of pre loved clothing and home goods for sale. There is much crammed in as stylishly as possible, but do look above & below eye level as you will find even more reasonably priced treasures. I was intrigued to find vintage knitting patterns that are well over 60yrs old. I still regularly knit from my mother's collection but I found one that I didn't have. Score! If you want buttons & haberdashery just look in the drawers. I regretted not buying a garment when I was in Dunedin and phoned up three days later to see if they still had it. After payment the garment arrived two days later. Fabulous service and the staff were totally helpful.
