Ordered a mango chicken with garlic naan - instead got a weirdly pale creamy chicken soup with no spice/flavour whatsoever with a naan that was microwaved right in front of me. The prices are cheap which is nice, but its obvious where the costs are cut
This place is above and beyond what i expected the first time i came here. This place just keeps getting better. They ate very friendly here, go out of their way to make sure you’re happy. The food is amazing, atmosphere is so chill and welcoming. Service is 5+ If you have been please try it. I promise you will be happy !!
The staff was friendly and the food was good. I only took the stars away because they did not give me the right order. I paid extra for lamb and they gave me chicken. That was pretty disappointing to find out once I got home with the food
The young gent there is engaging and polite. He remembers my order from the last time. Prompt, efficient service and good food. Love the naan bread....oooo yum!
Absolutely first class! Decided to try this place based on previous reviews and we're glad we did. All mains come with a decent portion of rice which was cooked to perfection. I had a hot butter chicken and regular naan and my lady had a mild butter chicken with garlic/butter naan. Decent portions as with the rice and the naan's were big. Mine filled me up and my lady could only manage to eat 1/3 of hers. She commented that it was the best Indian she has ever had and I totally agree. We also shared a Bombay Aloo which was perfect. We will definitely be back for more! Awesome! Btw, you can also eat in.
One of the worst Saagwala dish i ever tasted..plain full of cream not taste.. I couldn’t eat it at all i had to throw it away.. Rang to complain and they told me I ordered only mild .. mild dose not mean taste less feeling like i m drinking runny white cream only..
I had chicken madras and onion bahjis they were both really really good! Highly recommend.
Best Indian takeaways, located in South dunedin. Good price and friendly service. My favourite one is Kadai Chicken with a hot spicy level. Also, you should try the chicken biryani, it's excellent.
Don’t be fooled by the interior, the food is absolutely amazing. So so good.
One of the best Indian places in South Dunedin. Good value for money and the garlic cheese naans are to die for. Super friendly too.
