I recently purchased a lounge suite from Nood. The entire transaction was done by phone with Rachel. It was so easy and straightforward with great communication throughout. This included information on delivery by Mainfreight which also went without a hitch. Thanks Rachel, you are a real asset to Nood Napier.
Went in to Nood in Napier a while ago to buy some dining chairs with my mums card as she asked me to purchase 6 dining chairs for her, I saw a bin filled with cushions that had a sign above them saying “from $19” but the “from” was in small writing that I didn’t see. The cushions also didn’t have any pricing on the labels so I assumed that they would both be $19 as the sign stated. So I decided to get 2 cushions as well for my mum because they were such a good buy. As the person at the checkout read out the total I didn’t realise that the cushions were not $19 as I was purchasing the chairs and cushions together so was unaware of what the total would be. I looked at the receipt before I had even left the store and the cushions were about $70 each! I questioned the lady at the checkout as to the price and she pointed out the sign above the cushions said “from $19” I said that i didn’t see the “from” on the sign and asked if I could have a refund, she said she would have to call up her manager as the manager was not in store. The manager in some words said that I could not have a refund and should read things properly next time and that I should have inquired about the pricing and refund policy before I made a purchase. At this point I was almost in tears as I had spent the money on my mums card. The checkout person was very empathetic towards the situation but the manager even after explaining the circumstances was not. In the end I got a refund onto a gift card that my mum most likely will not use, so that’s $140 wasted. This experience left me feeling very upset. I would not recommend for anyone to shop here.
Awesome staff and service. They helped me find things that match and move things around to test in store. Also they could answer all my extra info questions like where the furniture is manufactured. Finally it was awesome they were happy to make things work for us when our house wasnt ready for furniture straight away. 100% would return for more.
Don't waste your money - furniture is cheaply made & doesn't take long before it is uncomfortable. The foam volume in my Percy Sofa did not even last 2 years & when I reached out to resolve the issue, they said there was nothing they could do due the fact that they only provide a 1 year warranty on furniture foam and also because no one else has appeared to have the same issue. Will never be buying here again.
I visited Nood Napier for the 1st time as I was looking for ideas & looking at dining tables & bar stools for a house that we are building. I QR scanned in at 10.15 walked out at 10.25 & 1 staff member was with customers the other 2 didn't come over & ask if I needed help 1 of them asked another lady who came in after me. I walked all the way round past the counter & the staff member at the counter still didn't acknowledge me. I won't be going in again & I won't be recommending Nood Napier to anyone also.
We bought a large framed print and some gorgeous coffee mugs. Lydia who helped and served us was amazing. She also showed us other items. Great service and lovely shop.
Today we bought a ex large rug from your store in Napier, I must say your shop assistant Emma went out of her way to help us, she knew we loved the rug but there was no way we could get it home in our little car. Emma suggested, even though it was out of her way, that she would deliver it to us when she finished work, what a great employee for you to have. Because of Emma you had a sale.
