That is a great cafe, egg Benedict and vege mess. Staff super friendly. Well priced. Now if only they can get Napier council to fully block off there street. They are half way there. Recommended if your in Napier.
Took a stop here for a lunch during the Labour weekend. Got the "big brekkie", which was just fine, and definitely there was nothing "big" about it. $28 for that food portion just doesn't cut it. We had seen much bigger portions for "big brekkie" even in Auckland, at any decent cafes. Kid's nuggets and fries were fairly ordinary as well. Tacos were good though; the pulled lamb was delicious and fresh. Service was quick.
We are regular to this cafe and try a different dish each time. I must say it was slightly overpriced for loaded fries at $24 but was tasty. We had the one with pulled pork. Mango smoothie was to die for.
Just before they were closing up We stopped and had a coffee and open-faced chicken sandwich at Kolachi. It was mouth watering delicious. We had a chance to chat with the young proprietor Jaspreet. He graciously spent time with us after inquiry that everything was meeting our expectations.
Loaded Fries are to DIE for!!!! Staff are amazing and the indoor/ outdoor seating is so nice x would love to sit in for a Kai and drink next time ❤️ Much love team. Keep up the good work x
Great place for a casual lunch and great coffee. Really like their 'butter sticks'- eco friendly and no nasty plastic waste.
A nice cafe to go to for breakfast, but there are better options around. Cafe was minimalistic in terms of decorationing, but not unpleasant, just nothing exciting. The food was nice, and looked great, but the eggs we had for breakfast were slightly overdone, so not overly runny on both the eggs Benedict and the big breakfast. That was the only complaint about the food though, as everything else was great. The service was good, and managed to negotiate around our errant toddlers who seemed to like playing musical chairs while waiting for food.
Our cruise ship brought us to Napier. We went on a Gannet Safari in the morning and found this place for lunch. I had the beef burger and my wife had the loaded fries, both were excellent! I highly recommend this place for a meal or they do have coffee and some other pastries.
