Nice decor, atmosphere and they have an open cuisine. Some good wine selection. Variety of plates available, it was tasty, but the portion were quite small for the fish dish especially

Came here with our family to celebrate a special occasion, and was blown away with the service, food, everything! The trust the chef menu with wine pairings was phenomenal, the steak and tempura oysters were real stand outs. They catered perfectly to accommodate dairy free options, not feeling in any way that things were substituted but instead specially made - you could really see the love that went into the meal. Our server Allie was incredibly helpful and professional, able to answer any question and making us feel at home. A great choice, couldnโt recommend further!

Dined here on Mothers Day, opting for the trust the chef menu - the perfect way to sample a bit of everything! Starting with the most divine snacks (x3), we added oysters which were so fresh and delicious, followed by a series of very generous and beautifully balanced plates (x4). Appreciated the mix of HB local and more exotic ingredients. Our waitress was lovely and personable, as well as the Maรฎtre D. Incredible value for what you get, alongside the level of service and beautiful atmosphere. Already planning our next visit!

One of the best meals weโve had on this trip! A A recommendation led us here for a fantastic dinner experience. Lamb & duck were our choice with a waiter suggestion of a great red wine. Wonderful service with a lovely atmosphere in a refurbished fire station. A great selection of deserts couldnโt be resisted to finish off the evening. Thanks to all in the kitchen and serving staff.

Best in Napier, actually possibly best in NZ. We loved the wine the platter and the mains. We eat in the best restaurants in Auckland and many major cities in the world globally. Still we were blown away by the taste the experience and the quality of the dinner we had here.

Staff were very accomodating. Food was creative and there was a sense of passion in what the chefs create. The only thing i could recommend is more attention to detail in terms of the gin list. It could be more extensive and i donโt remember it being on the menu. When I asked about the gins I donโt think the staff were provided with or coached on the local gins and the difference between dry, botanical, herbaceous and citrus. I also do recommend the use of dehydrated fruits. It could essentially elevate the experience to match the food and wine. Decor was nice and the bathrooms were clean. Food came out at a good pace. Good job to the floor staff and chefs. Just a bit more managerial over-site needed to fully bring the rest of the bar up to the food level which is an A+.

Delicious and CREATIVE food. This place doesn't serve steak and chips. Everything we ordered was really yumm and served by a friendly team who made us feel comfortable (merci Abraham). Good selection of wines by the bottle and glass.

Wow! We had a fabulous meal at this fabulous new restaurant last night. Really amazing food and delicious wine and drinks. Loved the attention to detail - the furniture, fit-out, menu, dinnerware, cutlery, and glasses were all cool. The restaurant just has a cool 'vibe'. The 4 of us described our different choices as some of the most delicious food that we had ever eaten. The front of house staff were very knowledgeable and professional, giving us good information and great wine matches too. Also loved the cool art in the bathrooms :) !!
