The wrap was cold and the cheese want melted, I asked for sauce and could only taste one sauce. It wasn't as nice as it usually is from this cafe Anatolia. We spent a lot so expected it to be hot and delicious. My paper was intwined in the wrap and I couldn't get all the foil off. My partner had the same experience
Food was really good more than I expected and cheap Can't say much to the service as I order on the tablet thing Atmosphere was alright pretty a empty space what don't get used Thanks guys
I had the Chicken and lamb chip in wrap. It's a great tasting kebab which it my regular meal.
Ordered a large meat on chips and got given a "large" container with a lot of cutouts on it that reduced the size majorly - basically a regular size but for extra. It's happened two times and I won't let it happen for a third time; I no longer go there. They know what they're doing. Go to kebab kingdom in Greenmeadows or kilim cafe in Havelock North instead.
My Hubby ( Mike ) ordered a chicken kebab tonight but this time their was a long piece of human hair in it most disappointing . As this is the very first time i have ever found this before. Put me off eating my dinner so through it out.
Went to have lunch place was like walking into freezer asked for heating to be put on was told it wasn't working!!! it was warmer outside( at time was about 5 degrees ) was also told this 3 weeks ago!! so left and went else where for lunch pretty sure there are laws about working environment temperatures I'm sticking to the Hastings one where the it's warm and staff are friendlier
They have recently added a new feature in the cafe, where you cannot talk to a person to order, you have to order on an ipad they have there. I guess this feature is good for introverts and is faster then talking. I always get the mixed meat kebab, it is always packed to the brim with meat and veggies. Its very fulling. One thing to add though they need to add more sauce, other then that its very delicous. I quite like the satay, garlic and this mint like sauce.
Pretty average. Had to use a machine to order, so i couldn't say only a little of this etc. Stuffed up my own order accidentally. Dined in. Food sat on counter for 10 mins while we were starving and no one else was there. No number that I could find, when to collect meal. Meals just sat with a whole lot of other orders waiting to be collected. Did not enjoy the food. Salad had a whole lot of solidified fat at the bottom of the container. Probably because it sat around and could not taste the satay with the lamb. Overall not very nice for an expensive take out. Won't be coming back. Haven't been to any Anatolia's for a while but the one in Napier central always used to be excellent
Ordered two Regular Sized Kebabs, were more like the size of Small Kebabs. Lack of fillings let-alone the Chicken and Lamb being dry. No cheese in my Kebab though we payed extra for it. Rather frustrating to get home and open it to find nothing but disappointment, not worth what they charge at all. Could learn a thing or few from the other sites they have around the Bay. I personally would not recommend Taradale Cafe Anatolia after this experience.
