   Went there for dinner, usually pretty good so was hoping for much the same this time around. However not sure what happened (perhaps change in management) but the food quality has depreciated immensely. My pizza came out luke warm and incerdibly flaccid. The buffalo chicken pizza had 2 1cm^3 bits of chicken on it (for 10 bucks a slice i expect just a tad more even amidst this cost of living crisis) with what looked like a blue cheese explosion (not the good kind) on it. The garlic knots came out effectively at room temp with granules of seasoning i could count on one hand. Please change xoxo

   We ordered their set meal for one person, 22 dollars and 20 cents pizza, and two pieces of pizza bread. The pizza tasted ok, but it turned out to be a disposable plate.

   Very greasy pizza, dripping with oil, but OK in taste. Very small selection of tap beer, often not all available. Ordered a pizza, garlic knots and two pints, went to order another couple of pints around 8ish or so on a Friday night to be told the duty manager had finished so no more alcohol could be served. There are far better pizza places to choose from in Dunedin.

   We ordered half n half vegetarian pizza and Garlic knots on a weekend (during public holidays) at around 5PM. We were the only customers in the restaurant probably because it was during the Christmas break. Anyways, we really loved the New York style pizza! It was huge and tasty! Garlic knots were okay. The service was exceptionally fast as well. The ambience was good due to its interior lighting and color scheme. Definitely recommend it for authentic New York style pizza! Food - 4/5 Service - 5/5 Ambience- 5/5

   I ordered a Sal's buffalo pizza, fully expecting a buffalo chicken pizza as described on the website. However, when the pizza arrived I was disappointed to find that the pizza only appeared to be a chicken pizza, lacking in both the buffalo sauce and blue cheese dressing that typically comes with the pizza. I do not understand how this error could have been made and wish that it would have been the proper buffalo pizza.

   Went here today 2nd June 2023 around 3-4pm, am pointing this out because the girl that was working(don’t know her name) is an absolute GEM, I had ordered and it was going to take 15 min to be ready so I went to wait in my car, set a timer, the girl that was working brought my order to my car because it was ready early, seems small but that was by far the best customer service I’ve ever experienced!!!! She was so lovely and kind. Made my day. 10/10 because of her

   i love sals but not dunedin because they burnt my pizza i couldn’t even eat the second slice it was so bad and i was really gutted as i was so hungry

   Loved it. Pizza is good, really tasty toppings and base,.not soggy and a good amount of crunch. Ingredients are excellent, the cheese is good and has some chew. Pepperoni and Italian sausage both really well seasoned. They're happy to mix and match slices and half pizzas to get you the combo you want. They'll even accommodate no cheese! Really good unfussy dining, loved it.
