She has got new very junior staff. The way the boss lady spoke to them was not only encouraging, supportive, respectful and informative, giving rationale for why things should be done. What true leaders/mentors are made of. And the food was delicious, I got battered mussels and hotdogs on a stick.

This is probably 4.5 stars, when I think back to the best I had as a child growing up. But viewed on their own, or compared to many other shops today, these are up there with the best. The gurnard is fresh, light, and fluffy. Not soggy or oily. Very well done. The chips likewise arrive home every so slightly crispy and a nice golden colour on the outside. The stab the paper with a small knife so they don't get soggy during the car journey home. Never had a bad experience over the 10 or more times I've been.

First time here tonight . Chips and mussels were nice, but the fish of the day was average ,the batter was stuck to the paper and quite oily . Have had better elsewhere .

Waited over 30 mins just for 2 burgers and loaded fries. Over the 30 minutes watched our burger sit in the warmer for 15 minutes as it seems to take that long to cook chips. Brisket burger was 90% fat and 10% soggy and the βgourmetβ bacon beef burger consisted of a chewy pattie straight from the freezer paired with (bacon) which was instead a chewy ham steak that was half burnt. The loaded fries were cold and also came with fresh chunks of pure bacon fat and all this for 45 dollars, what a bargain!

At first glimpse of the gourmet bbq beef burger it looked delicious. A big meaty burger nice fresh bun and salads with a good saucing. Big thick pattie but wasn't an enjoyable beef patty. Being a "gourmet burger" I was expecting a homemade patty or a fresh meat patty but it was a dull gray processed frozen packet patty. It would be a 5 star burger if it had a good patty. Perhaps try a smash patty range. The fried chicken burger had a fish feeling to the chicken with they type of coating used. The pulled pork chips and the bacon loaded chips were OK but wouldn't recommend them. The potato fritter was very oily and had a bit of a strange taste to it that I was unsure if I liked or not. Wouldn't recommend anything of what we ordered at this stage unfortunately but I will be back to try a classic fish and chip meal from here and see how that goes. Would strongly recommend rethinking the choice of beef patty used.

I loved the atmosphere outside and inside the shop. Customer service was splendid, waiting time was superb and food was delicious and specific on Snapper. Hotdogs were delicious. I never seen and tried crispy and savoury chips like this before in other places and it was really an eye opener for me. I would definitely go back and recommend this place to my family and friends

$11.80 is the most Iβve paid for a chicken burger from a chippy, and yet the smallest by a mile. Tiniest piece of chicken. Extremely disappointing. Chips were good but when two people are still hungry after paying $25 for this burger, fish, hotdog and a scoop of chips - we wonβt be back

Great local fish and chips! The fish was perfectly cooked and was crispy, the chips were crunchy and delicious, hot dog was lovely and complex, not samey at all, and the meat patty was crunchy and very meaty. Pack options could be better optimised to suit a couple, but otherwise very good. Fried chicken also looked nice however we didnβt order that. Pictures are all my own. Iβve also updated the menu and price list as of a day ago :)
