Amazing Fish and Chips. The fish was as fresh as it could be, flakey and a great thin coating of batter. Everything was cooked perfectly, the oil must have been fresh as everything was a lovely colour. Great friendly service and attention to detail (I appreciated the holes poked in the paper as it was cool enough for the kids when I arrived home) thanks so much! Will be back next time we visit Napier!
The service was lovely but the food was so overpriced I got a mussel fritter It was more batter then mussels they must have used one mussel per fritter It was so finally chopped up you couldn't tast it Paua fritter they assured me they don't use Paua past So I was excited to try this Again it was so thin with very tiny bits of Paua but definitely mixed with Paua past
Has been our Fish n Chip shop for years and always Top Notch!! Best Batter on their Fresh Fish as always, plus a really convenient delivery option and cost as well. Lovely Family too .

Chips were nice fish was on the thin side. And ordered 2 steak and egg burgers and it came with a little piece of steak and a patty?? Not impressed with that.....
Absolutely the best fish and chips I've ever had. The food is always cooked to perfection. The fish is pure white and so fresh, it falls apart you won't have to cut it. The chips are perfect, never over done nor under done. I also get it delivered for a tiny amount and the man who delivers the food is lovely. He's always polite and happy. You won't be disappointed. I I honestly recommend to everyone.
Ordered 2 scoops of chips for $3.50 a scoop, total being $7.00. Equaled the portion size of a typical single scoop from other stores. While I'll admit the chips were cooked nicely, be prepared to pay twice the amount. For those feeding an average size family, I would suggest ordering at least 3 - 4 scoops. Larger family's, 4 - 6.
My family have been ordering from here for more than 10 years. The best service with the friendliest owners. I now live overseas but when I come back to NZ and feel the need for good ol' fish and chips... this is where I call. And they deliver... with a smile!
