Great experience overall. The Chef/owner came to our table and recommended some dishes that were all very tasty. We saw him visit all the tables and talk with the guests. Very invested in his customers. My wife, daughter and I were all very pleased with our overall experience. Highly recommended.

On the plate at Rasoi Indian Restaurant, the idea is casual Indian and well executed. Meatβfree options are woven into the menu. Tandoor notes appear clean and steady. Plates offer plenty without tipping heavy. Frontβofβhouse runs with calm, helpful energy.

Girl's lunch date and the food was devine with aromatic wines. We were all very pleased with our wonderfully flavoured meals. The tummies were happy.

I rate this restaurant 10 out of 10. The food is freshly made, good quality and super tasty. I love my spicy food and they matched my expectation. It was tasty and authentic. The spicy capsicum soup was certainly a hit! The boneless chicken tandoori, prawns and gobi Manchurian was out of this world. I wanted a spicy margarita which was not on the cocktail list but they made a special one for me. I highly recommend this place for sure. The best!

We had the banquet menu which was extremely tasty and filling. They had a large selection of wines avaliable. The service was reasonably friendly but lacking professionalism. It's was a small space so we had a big table in the middle of the restaurant. The best part was the large range of dishes available on the regular menu, and the cost. Very reasonably priced which compensated for everything lacking.

Itβs always very tricky to review when food is delicious, but service terrible. Thatβs the case with this place. Let me start with food. When we eventually got it (more on that to follow) it is the best that Indian kitchen has to offer, well seasoned, spicy and delicious. Every singe dish was just great and it helps in our case that there is wide vegetarian/ vegan choice. Cauliflower was delicious, but even mains ALOO GOBI ADRAKI and PINDI CHANNA - Spicy chickpeas cooked with tomatoes & garnished generously with onions and coriander were just perfect. So let get to the service and why itβs important for restaurants to have customer friendly and motivated staff. We made a booking and first upon entry had to wait good 5 minutes, before anyone even came to greet us, then very unpleasant and non English speaking waitress couldnβt find our reservation. Luckily someone else came and found the booking at once. We ordered our food and drinks and then waited and waited. After good half an hour wait we noticed that tables who arrived afterwards are already getting their food, while we are waiting. Since none even bothered to come and check on us I had to go and check myself and turned out they forgot to place our order. No apologies, no attempt to offer us free drink for the trouble, nothing. The thing is that it was busy night and everyone can make a mistake, but how itβs handled ruins everything. We would certainly understand if someone came to apologise but now we will avoid this place and dont recommend it to anyone unless you want to take your chances on the mood of the staff.

Fabulous Indian cuisine. Greeted and seated as soon as we arrived, food was amazing and didn't take long to come to the table. Was busy restaurant, but the service was fantastic. Definitely recommend.

Nicely located on the marine parade. Good thing about the place is they are open from noon to 10pm. But, the food though was very disappointing to be honest. Very slow service. The quality was very poor. Why do βauthenticβ Indian restaurants add sugar in everything?!!!!! We were charged with $320 bill for this disappointment. My friends barely touched the curries in the vegetarian thali ( each $45) We did ask for one non- veg thali which wasnβt available but was in the menu. The gulab jamun on the thali was from a can !!!!! I mean come on, some effort? The one main dish that was good was βlaal goshβ and rumaali roti. The desert - paan kulfi was good. The only 2 reasons this place is even getting 2 stars.

We walked in on a Friday night and while they were fully booked, they managed to squeeze in ahead of another booking. We still had over an hour to eat which was awesome. Very nice staff. Didn't have to wait long for our food and it was amazing! Lots of vegetarian choices. We settled on the dhal and a vege korma. Good portion sizes although a wee bit more rice for two people would be great. Loved the on tap house beer. Left very happy.
