Sri Thai House Beef salad was so delicious. I love crisp salad veges, add beef and peanuts, beautiful herbs, coriander and mint, and the most divine dressing, perfect food in my opinion. I can highly recommend this dish. Thank you Sri Thai.
After our film at the Globe, we wanted to try this restaurant as someone I know had recommend it. We ordered tea and food and I was expecting the tea to arrive promptly, but we had to wait 25 minutes for our cups. It was tea in bag and we had nowhere to put the bags after recommended 2 minutes brewing. We ended up putting the bags in a water glass, which was no big deal, as we were offered no water anyway. The food arrived just after the tea, and my dear friend's so-called sizzling plate was barely warm whereas my food was lukewarm. Have you ever had jasmine tea with fairly spicy food? I wouldn't recommend it. The tea was hot enough, as opposed to the food. And now we come to the food. I ordered a duck stir-fry. Not only was the portion minimalistic, but the overcooked duck was little more than leftover grizzle and fat, and hardly graced the plate with its presence. They even managed to serve overcooked rice that had burned bits in it. We were fortunate enough to be charged extra for that privilege. Not once did anyone come by to enquire whether we needed anything. My thought is that there must be other Thai restaurants in Napier.
Lovely little restaurant with a great atmosphere and environment. Service is always so good. The food is absolutely delicious, one of our most favorite places to go for Thai.
Hankering for some Thai food led our group here. The photos sold us! Very busy restaurant that happily accommodated us last minute, We had the mussiman curry, tom yum soup and prawn veggies. All of enjoyed our meals, and the bustling atmosphere. It’s BYO but we brought our drinks there. Highly recommend
Decor dated and too much noise. Pretty cramped in there. Food and service great. Chicken Pad Thai on point. Chicken Thai Fried Rice on point for him. Roti bread was more flaky pastry and very oily. Forgot to take photos.
It's an authentic Thai n Vietnamese restaurant, liked Pho n Vietnamese spring rolls. Roasted pork Salad is not bad, but it can be better if the roasted pork was warm n the salad dressing was not spicy...in general, a good place to enjoy Asian food.
Had a lovely meal where both of us tried new dishes that we had never had and were both super happy with our choices. So flavourful that my partner almost scraped the dish clean. Also with friendly helpful staff it's easy to see why Sri Thai is so many locals favourite.
Amazing dishes and excellent service! Be sure to make reservations as this place was BUSY! Delicious eats made for sharing (or not lol) and guaranteed to fill you up!
Tom yum soup was tasty but could a little more sour. 14.9$ entree with prawns. Expensive given the quantity. Also had green Thai house curry + chicken. This was creamy, cocci it and a nice flavour. Must remind that it was so it but enjoyable. 18.9 and plus 2$ rice. Overall 2.5 - 3 /5 for taste, quality and value. Certainly once a visit.
