   We truly enjoyed our stay at this charming alpaca farm Airbnb in Waihi, conveniently close to Karangahake Gorge. The cabins are beautifully secluded, about a mile off the main road, offering a quiet and private retreat. Inside, they're small and intimate but packed with thoughtful touches – we especially appreciated the readily available drinking water, coffee/tea setup, and microwave, which made our short stay so much easier. Our host's attention to detail, like having the electric blankets on for our arrival, was a lifesaver after a cold and rainy day. While we wished there were interior connecting doors to avoid letting bugs in when moving between rooms, it was a minor point in an otherwise fantastic stay. A highlight was definitely the time our host took to let us feed the alpacas – an unforgettable experience!

   Amazing place, fantastic hosts. We stayed here for two nights and explored Waihi. Neil, the host, was welcoming and helpful, including several Alpaca feeding tours. The cabins are excellent, warm, dry and spotless. You have everything you need for a great escape in the country. The morning views from the deck were spectacular. We will definitely be back and absolutely recommend this place to anyone.

   Probably the best accommodation and host I've been to...the place was wonderful, Joanne and Neil was extremely nice and took us for a personal tour through the place. Loved the overall experience and the place was wonderful. Loved meeting the alpacas and other pets :D Thanks

   Lovely location away from the "maddening crowds". Our city grandchildren enjoyed the farm experience. Neil shared his love of animals with them especially his very contented herd of alpacas. Thankyou.

   If you're cycling the Hauraki rail trail or are just passing through, Neil and Joanne have some great cabins, hidden up on the hilltop overlooking Waihi. Lovely place to stay. I would definitely recommend a visit.

   We cycled on the Hauraki Rail Trail from Te Aroha and stayed here overnight before the return journey. It’s about a 6km detour to a quiet road from the falls bistro. The cabins were great! They were spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. It was great just to bring some basic rations and have tea and coffee, fridge and microwave provided. The farm is absolutely stunning with incredible views. Neil and Joanne were great hosts and let us bring our dog, who also had a great time. The alpacas were beautiful animals and very fun to meet. We would definitely recommend and would love to stay again next time we’re in the area.
